  • Wish sea snakes were not venomous so people could keep them as pets.

  • Brave

  • Couldn't get me near one of those snakes without full body armor.

  • Sea snakes have a bad rap but a sweet disposition. believe it!!!

  • my favorite snake in the world here

  • I picked one these things up as a child to show it to my friends. Also, I'm an idiot.

  • lol those aren't sea snakes.. those are Electric Feel

  • i even hate land snake! let alone sea snake

  • wtf how did i click new video:(

  • it will grow from 1mm to 2mm to 3mm year later... 10mm next year.... 50mm(dead)

  • Why do people like to demonize snakes? They seem friendly enough, even cute.

  • lol whats up with the music, wth is the video maker trying to portray?

  • key word "late" larry smith

  • they look like cal kings with tail-fins :D

  • okay I'm sorry I'm sure this is not funny but reading the title Sea snake wrangling with Larry smith... followed by the description "the LATE Larry Smith" ummmm...

  • simply amazing

  • jesus im tarrified of snakes

  • So were others and they got over it

as they watched how non-aggressive (at all)

    a sea snake's demeanor is!

  • really, its just the fact that there soo long and gross lookin

  • @007bmac

Sea snakes ARE THE MOST deadly poisonous of all serpents, bmac! I am 99.9% positive of that!

One experienced diver and cameraman was filming two in asia (I remember this from many years ago, so forgive any discrepancies?) However it turned out that the male was trying to mate... the females being 'very receptive'!

They BOTH attacked him many, many times, over 90 teeth marks were found on his 'saving dry suit'! Luckily their small fangs didn't penetrate fully through the rubber!

  • @121Bollox

They are not aggressive is my experience over many dives with them.

I go as far as to follow them, and help them hunt in crevices with my video lights.

or so it seems. Based on observations, no fear from these guys.

  • @007bmac -

Sir... I bow to both your knowledge, and experience! Who am I to argue with someone such as youself?

I love to learn about our given beauty, mate, and can only thank you for sharing your enthusiasm! It's a magnificent gift you have there, 007bmac, thank you once again for sharing your love of our hidden treasures, mate! May I ask a question, though? Why are we exploring 'up there', when we know so little about our own planet? (I read that we know of nigh-on 5 % of our oceans?)

  • @121Bollox

"Sea snakes ARE THE MOST deadly poisonous of all serpents, bmac! I am 99.9% positive of that!"

    Fail.

  • @NPSF3000

Thank you for pointing out my failures, NPSF... I'm trying to undestand, mate... that is all....

  • @NPSF3000 Do you even know what you are talking about?

Sea snakes are the most poisonous snakes in the world. This is a fact.

  • @spartamaislovely

Unless you can show me evidence that EVERY species of sea snake is more poisonous than EVERY OTHER known species of snake, my point of semantics (?) remains.

  • @spartamaislovely no there not the most poisonous

  • @121Bollox Its not the most poisonous of all so your really 99.9% wrong the fierce snake is the most poisonous

  • @MrDontstareitsrude

Well.. we really have to agree to disagree, then, mate?

Agrression isn't 'poison'... now if you'd have asked the MOST aggressive snake? I'd have answered that li'l brown back swine in Australia! (You're probably correct, however? I really dunno?)

All I know... is that I lost people to the 'box jellyfish', and these bastards in the video! 'Fierce Snake'... I'll look up! You have my word....

  • @121Bollox not poisonous, venomous. Venom is natural in animals etc but poison is man made

  • @breyergirl606 Snakes are pretty tarrifying.

  • That's absolutely crazy.... These thing have some of the most deadly venom of any snakes.

  • its mouth is so small it cant bite a human.

  • I wouldn't say that they cannot harm humans

The point is that their temperament is mellow, as you can see

The video still shows a 70's something woman (who was at first wary of the snakes) hold her hand out to one, after she had watched them for a while.

  • because the music had to be the creepy

  • Good dive...great video. Enjoyed it..

  • Wow

  • charming indeed

  • That is amazing footage! That many banded sea snakes in one location! I usually catch one or two in isolated encounters in PH. Nice filming again by the way.

  • awesome snakes ^* ............. 5 stars

    thank u

  • INDONESIA !!! i love you my country !!!

  • Well done in every way
