I'm a Cardcaptor fan, and i've heard that this is a sort of spin-off in a way, that the characters look the same and have the same name, but that's as far as the similarities go. So I clicked on this and am now all sorts of lost. What do I watch after CCS and in what order?

@livlifelaffing Tsubasa was a completely different series from CCS. You watch it tlike like, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Tsubasa Tokyo Revelation, Then Tsubasa Spring Thunder. That's the anime. But they never finished the anime. If you want to know the ending you have to read the manga.

@TheResidentevilfan12 Neither, there were two season prior to Tokyo Revelation (which I recommend that you watch). But Tokyo Revelation happened before Spring Thunder.

@prisonerofpain if you look up All of the Tsubasa songs you might find it in parts of those. just look up one of the Tsubasa songs and all of them will be there. just keep listening. like Ship of Fools and Amrita and I talk to the Rain. look one of those up and you'll probably find the song ur looking for if you keep looking in the videos on the right during the video. wow just realized the two teams got switched around. In the anime X Kamui is the "leader" of the tower team and fuuma is the leader of the Tokyo Tech Team. Wonder why they got switched around....

@TheDaleklover I haven't really watch the anime but in the manga Tokyo revelation is part of the plot in the manga and really important. Plus Tokyo revelation is a ova. So I don't think that it's different but it's weird that they already ended it.

@FrostshadowLord @TheDaleklover the OVAs are what was supossed to happen, the anime took it out and basically botched the story. The OVA's are straight from the manga and this ova takes place right after Fai uses his magic in the Record City arc (book of memories) in the anime

read the manga, it is so much better then the anime

In the manga, it goes straight to this arc, but in the anime, they skip this and everything along with it. the OVAs are what should have happened in the anime but ended up where they are. I just wish that they included the Infinity arc and the Celes arc too...

Yay! I've regained my love for Tsubasa! :D

I loved the first season! (I now own it on DVD.) I couldn't wait for the second season! Then the second season was, apparently, full of fillers, so it was pretty boring for me, and then episode 52, which I thought was the end, was a bit disappointing...

But now that I've watched this, I've fallen in love with Tsubasa all over again! I can't wait to see what happens next! :D

They do strange things in translation apparently. Kakyo's a guy in X/1999 and the Tokyo Acid story arc ( I mean I don't remember them changing his gender) and they have Nataku calling him 'she' at 21:16 XD

@athenea199105 Yes, when the the group stole the feather in the library world they were suppose to immediately come to this world. This world is the turning point of the series, and it was not included in the anime because they turned it in to a kids show when it's suppose to be for teens. So the rest of the anime is filler. the OVAs are to inspire people to read the manga because it would be the only way to fully understand them. I suggest to start reading the manga from volume one :)

@BrittanyMac14 well, is not really the sequel, its the same characters alright, but the deal is that theyre in a diffrent dimention or parallel universes, but from what i heard, it has a connection cardcaptor due to all of the crossovers used, technically they put many crossovers from clamps work and walla here came out tsubasa, id give you more info, but that would be a spoiler.... + i dnt know if what i reaserched and was told was true, i find it hard to believe.

Technically...kinda. The Clow Reed of Tsubasa is the Clow Reed of Cardcaptors. There are multiple Lis and Sakuras. You have to read the wiki/or the manga to understand.
