I mean after they see the kids have decapitated the dog, and were going to do who know's what with that other boy in the shed, there dumb enough to both go to bed at the same time, even though these two bastards are the most obvious soon-to-be serial killers ever. Wouldn't it be more sensible for the Dad to have cocked a shotgun, and stayed in their room watching them all night making sure they didn't pull any other shit?

Just watched this movie last night and it was great.

All these people that are saying that the movie is bad... well, they just don't identify with horror movies that don't include naked chicks and chainsaws.

Seriously, this movie was awesome and the tension throughout the film just builds and builds, until you're hanging on the edge of your seat waiting to see how this dark tale concludes.

This movie really got me going for some reason. I've watched a lot of horror flicks, from your typical slashers with almost no scary moments (for me, at least) to the more pscyhological, to the torture flicks (the most intelligent being Martyrs, which you can see some of here on youtube, better have a strong stomach!), and this one is one of those rare gems that I think can really hit the nail on the head, heh. I thought the ending was really great, it left a lot to the imagination.

Although I haven't seen it, I've read reviews about A Serbian Film, and I still want to see it. For some other Transgressive Horror Films, I recommend Ichi The Killer, or Frontiers, or even The Human Centipede.

Best horror film I've seen in a long time, even an American made it no less!

Most American horrors are just slashers. Horrible, boring slashers. If not slashers, they're adaptation from other country films. And they do a terrible job making the adaptation as frightening as the original.

A psychological horror like this is a treasure. The parents were bloody stupid in the film, which is why it was slightly unrealistic. But, the script and acting was top notch.
