A long time agoI I listened to 'for the love of god' by steve vai, and I thought it was really cool how he brought back the main theme at a later point but made it a lot more ...zesty, for lack of a better term. It hit me that this is exactly what chopin does and it blows my mind every time. goddamn I love this shit.
This is beautiful. You have really made the music come alive, and it has given me an appreciation for Chopin I did not have before. Thank you so much.
I heard this on Pandora and instantly fell in love, it's probably one of the most beautiful pieces, in my opinion, Frederic Chopin ever composed, and that's saying alot considering Chopin.
flawless performance bravo..! can't help but notice there's like strings in the background..? did you layer violin with the piano? or is that the sustain?
@violettecs Apparently you don't really know it. cubusdk's performance is flawless. Judging by the way you speak, you don't seem very intelligent, so I'm guessing your interpretation is much poorer than his.
@T3hL337Sesshy ohh yeah i'm french dude just try to say your comment in french and we'll see who's the most intelligent here! and yet i played piano for like 11 years and i'm in conservatory so MAYBE i know a little bit about that! but anyway just listen to it in a cd you'll see what it really songs like
@violettecs Hm, well. I've been playing the piano for longer than you've been alive. I'm not going to sink to your level and argue that that means my opinion's automatically better than yours, but it seems pretty obvious to me that you're just some snot-nosed 17-year-old kid who gets a kick out of criticizing the performances of others. If some conservatory out there accepted you, then they must not be very prestigious at all.
Nocturnes are usually slightly darker, moodier, and have a very dreamy and whimsical quality. Rather than being rigid or sounding very structured like some other music.
I really enjoyed that. A great interpretation, and what a wonderful reportoire you have. Plus the editing of the video was great, I loved how you followed the sheet music in the middle section!
im doing a report and this song really helped me.This am Wickedsoldier991, and I approve this comment.

MMm, the note in the right hand at 1:12 sounded different from what the sheet music indicates.. in spite of this, very romantic playing!
