Hey Tony. Have very much enjoyed your posts. I am happy that this crowd pleaser is still going strong. I remember you knocking it- I never understood, because this is just spot on. Its an absolutely brilliant piece of music! I remember hauling my old Yamaha in that big case up the stairs to you prefab in Scarborough in 1991. Good on you Tony, a true master."Slap chips" is brilliant. Danny
Hey Danny, I hardly ever administer this site anymore so I'm sorry for not replying sooner....great to hear from you bro, hope all is great in your world...
I am aware of using the index finger and thumb technique. Used for non natural harmonics.Never saw it done though beyond the fret board though. Does that have something to do with the tuning?
And can I get a transcript of that beautiful song?
Tony - I remember watching you and Steve in Rocky Street many years ago. I was so impressed I popped over the next night again and broguht some mates to see you guys. I am glad to see you are still going strong. Thanks for the memories. I live in Sydney. Are you guys coming out here?

Tony, just wish I knew how you were able to play those harmonics at the beginning of the song with only your right hand!
What tuning do you play this song in?
blissandfreedom 2 years ago
open Eminor (or Dminor), The harmonics are played by blocking off the string with my index finger and plucking the note with my thumb...
