I have very small dots on one part of one leg. this is a pain in the neck because getting totally rid of them is a chore and I can't really do it well. So I may just have to put up and clean up from them as best I can...will try the soapy water with a flame routine a that seems the easiest. i do NOT like pesticides like a bomb...I hate that. anything that kills life can also kill humans if breathed in enough or exposed enough. Poison is poison period.

I don't even let my cat go upstairs to my room, and I still have a pretty bad case of them. They must've just hoped on me and reproduced like crazy. I always throw them in a cup of water and watch as they spin in circles and drown.

@saik0pod if you have like a ipod case or something to close and open you can put the fleas in the box but not a big box small one and when you have a flea you can do what ever you want to it

just slept one day and then i saw a red dot on my right foot, next day saw a little black thing on my foot while watching TV and it bit me i freaked out and got on my bed, then i swat it when it jumped on my foot again!

i looked at it, searched the web. and it was a flea....

@PinoyPogiman Use dawn dish wash soap and get a flea comb. Humans don't have that much hair so they shouldn't be too bad to remove

@Cherri3x3 is dabbing cotton drenced Hydrogen peroxide okay to do? and hydrogen peroxide is the medical antiseptic soltuion for cuts,burns, and other things. so did i do a good thing?

@PinoyPogiman Yes. They ARE fatal bugs. JK LOL, but I am allergic to fleas, but due to my two cats, we frequently get infestations. I used to see them all the time, and woke up in the morning with 5 more bites each day. We just wait for them to die off, because I'm the only one in my family who ever gets bites. I've been gettin them forever, and I'm not dead. I'm sure there is NO way they could kill someone, unless they were carrying a desease like misquitoes. Don't worry tho.

@2NDimension woot.... well, it was one flea and we flea bombed the house a few weeks ago although im not sure if they are from our pet parakeets?

@PinoyPogiman well, i did some googling and some places said that Parakeets can get fleas, others said no. I'm guessing they can, since it seems to make sense, but if you really want to be sure, ask your vet for advice, and see if you could get flea medicine if they can get fleas.

@2NDimension not sure? i have a flea guard for their cage. they really dont get outside, instead they're mostly in their cage.

im really not sure how just 1 flea got in the house....

and it was the only flea i saw...

@PinoyPogiman oh srrry i thought u were asking if they could get fleas or not. it probably came from outside, but it would be hard to believe that there is only ONE. as long as you don't get any more bites, or your bird doesn't, i wouldn't worry.

@2NDimension yea... i cleaned my bed, sweeped the floor, and we flea bombed the house with House Fog spray.

and that i only saw one and it was the last one i saw..... im guessing they're gone for the moment

just like my first "Tick bite" when i found out it was a deer tick, nasty little thing. good thing tho, it wasnt engorged when i saw it and that means i have no LYME DISEASE!!!! that was since 2010 i think around august.

@PinoyPogiman no it doesn't. You should get tested regardless of if it was engorged or not. Not everyone gets the bullseye rash, either.

my house has fleas and the bites on my body are like huge boils that have burst and bled.. Its shocking and im in agony and I cant get rid of the fleas.I left white paper on the ground and every five 30 minutes I see one hopping on to it..
