It might have been a ghost, though the track worker is a possibility if there is some sort of a pit for them under the trackway. The other possibility is that it is simply some sort of a computer generated special effect being used to fool us.
Subway ghost my ass. That was a track maintanance at track level. Probably working on something nearby and went under the platform area for cover when the train arrived. When the train leaves the station that person would resume his work till the other train arrives then it's back to the same prosedure.

i watched the video 6-7 times and i even looked at everyones conxlusions and thoroughly examined thedeinonychus's conclusion and i myself did not see that glare. so my only asumption is, is that it is indeed real, or someone has tampered with this video in a very realistic way. but then again thats my conclusion not yours os enjoy the vid and take it for what you want

It's glair on the camera lense. Watch the first half before the zoom in and slow the video down. It's moveing too erraticly to be anything solid, and you can even see the shape moveing on part of the train and the pavement
