no its true. and yes i do feel bad but i have to do what the bank tells us to do we repoed 18 cars just in are town this week. and we don't deal with banks are trucks are payed for with cash. i have never in my life got a loan from a bank for anything my new house is payed for. but we also haveing a small trucking company we haul oversize loads. the repo thing was my dads ideal he has done it for 25 years and loves it. i have 14 cars to repo next week in the bad part of the town.

no they are rear wheel drive, if they truck is in 4 wheel all that needs to be done is drag it around the corner jimmy it and take it off, or just pop the linkage in it which is easier

Nope, they aren't. There are definitely 4X4 Ford Explorers. It's an option to have "4-wheel drive with ControlTrac®" on all Ford Explorer models. Direct from the official Ford website. I've also found references of 4X4 Explorers all the way back to 1991, the first generation.

As i have said. some are CONSTANT four wheel drives, people can not help it if its a CONSTANT four wheel drive.

And you can lock in the hubs and take it out of 4WD and put it into 2WD witch won't make much difference it will just "stuff" your differential in the long run.

Slings are fine even with plastic bumpers. I know guys who have driven both slings and wheel lifts. Some like one or the other. We have a guy who picks up 90% of our stuff with a sling and does no damage. We send it through a warranty check for all parts of the vehicle before we resale it. I think he has had one cracked bumper in all the years we have used him.

A sling's fine, as long as you're not dealing with a plastic bumper or bumper cover. Most rear bumpers on proper trucks are steel.

Having said that, I never use my sling unless it's something off-camber in a ditch, or snowbank, or whatever.

As far as shooting repo guys goes, it's just too funny to think about the rationale. THE BANK KNOWS WHO YOU ARE ASSHOLE! How long do ya think the cops will take to get that info, douche bag?

The pins are pieces of steel that are cylindrical and approx 9 or 10 inches long,give or take and about an inch in width. They insert into predrilled holes in the lift. They stick up like two pegs. They allow you to quickly grab anything with a steel bumper. They are not used on cars or front ends of any vehicle.

I beg to differ on the comment about using pins on cars. I do it all the time on certain models and do not damage the unit. Just need to know what you are doing. Never use on Honda or Cavalier.

yes most of the cars today have plastic bumpers but behind that shell is a steel plate. The plate is only a hair wider than the width of the pins so thats why I say you must know what you are doing, and you can not do it if you can not hit the unit straight on.. If you have a car that is already trashed I suggest trying on that first.
