Hi xebec1958. Yes, the meatballs hold their shape really well. They come out of the jar in shape, as long as you are careful when you release any stuck to the jar or to each other. The only time you might have a problem, is in reheating them. Bring them to a boil in sauce (if you are using sauce) but after they are piping hot don't boil them forever.
so they hold their shape very well. I would heat them separately though because when I have cooked them up in sauce before serving, some of them did fall apart!

@xebec1958 Sorry- haven't checked back in very much. Yes, although I do fry or broil (US) or grill (UK) them first, to brown the outside.
