I sure miss the early Tori. I saw her at the Plugged In tour. The most electrifying performer I've ever seen in person. I really love her thru Choirgirl Hotel, especially Boys For Pele. What happened to her? I don't enjoy the "new" Tori. She overthinks it now (and where have all the early Tori videos gone from YouTube?)

@ScarletsBeautifulLie I actually really do miss this Tori and I'm a some-what new fan. I do like Abnormally Attracted to Sin though... Scarlet's was her last solid effort though :) even though I love the Beekeeper I understand it's not one of her... best accepted records.

as a hardcore fan you just can't say there's a favourite song,

but you can say, there's a song that goes straight to your heart like no other does, and for me, it's "here. in my head"...maybe it's because she sings about things are not as they seem in her head, and that's exactly the reason I "stumble" so often.^^

Candelise, Tori HAS done several Kate covers live in recent years, to huge applause. She loves Kate's music and has said so often. In finally covering Kate, she made it clear that she no longer finds the comparison game even worthy of further mention. I agree. I love both of them. It was incredibly moving to hear Tori sing "Running Up That Hill". I'd love for Kate to tour, but I can see why she doesn't. Some thrive on performing, some don't. No need to slam her for wanting her quiet life.

That is some messed up dancing. It's kind of spastic, although it's too halfhearted to be truly spastic. It's like a really lazy special education kid with no sense of rhythm.
