To me, Lumen is far more of a soul mate for Dexter than Rita. I dunno; Rita never got to know who Dexter really was and considering her passed two husbands, I doubt she'd accept him. Plus she was so ANNOYING. I love Lumen because she's as broken and damaged as Dexter and she accepts him knowing he's a killer. I hope she returns in the series finale and the two of them get away safely :D!!!
