I don't think Gal recorded this song much, if at all. I think perhaps that she thought her friend Elis had the definitive version, and it would be almost sacrilegious to make another, esp. ofter her untimely death. I don't think this song was her cup of tea...she looks uncomfortable singing it...I don't know why...but I do know that Tom Jobim said she had a "perfect voice"...it's hard to disagree with that assessment...plus wasn't this recorded outside?...nasty recording..
