Raw, brilliant Muse!! I've always thought Uno was the best song from Showbiz - this has just verified that. Matt certainly had that 'couldn't care less' attitude back then, but they were young and not so well-known - now they are huge and have many young people who look up to them, so they behave appropriately. However, I still think Matt is just as "hyper" now as he was then!!

With your right hand, slap the strings with your thumb and little finger, whilst muting the strings around the 1st-3rd frets with your left hand. (He's doing it at 3-5, but it doesnt make much of a difference :P) At the same time, use a wah-pedal and rock it backwards and forwards to mimic a helicopter.

After this, he's using a Digitech Whammy pedal, up +1 octave. Hope that helps!
