riddick is a hardcore badass and all but something would be pretty suspicious if the guy who set me up offered me a shank and told me to wait in my cell for it; perfect ambush spot. theres also the chance he could attempt to stab riddick as he hands it to him....then again its freaking riddick so it dosent matter what they try

The remake takes away things while just "barely" improving the visuals. AODA is an underwhelming experience. Sort of a trial and error puzzler with no emphasis on stealth or free roam.

Returned the game, and still continue to play this on to this day.

Holy crap, I just started playing the remake on Xbox 360 last night, just picked it up at the store, it's AMAZING. I had never played EFBB before so it's all new to me, I'm in the fighting ring area now, this game rocks and the graphics on the remake are insane on an HDTV.

This kind of stuff is great to hear... I played it when it came out back in 04, but I lost it so I'm glad the remake came out on the 360, and I got it day ONE... this is one of the best First Person games, period.

i got the remake but i didnt think it was all that good. way too much trial and error for most of the game, i swear you have to die like 5 times just to find all the guards, all their patrols and all the good shadows. only once you know all them can you get past the one hit kill gun-fucks. im not an avid stealth game fan, so i dunno if that is the norm or not.

well ive never played the thief series, and tbh i dont play stealth games in general either, so feel free to call me a stealth noob if you want. i just dont like games based around trial and error, and i especially dont like games where the slightest fuck up causes instant death. hence, my gripes with butcher bay.

Yep. This game was the first true next gen game (along with Doom 3). I've yet to see a game impress me as much overall with the visuals and sound design.

Crysis looks good, but it didn't "wow" me like Riddick and Doom 3.

I have fraps recording normal now, but it lag kinda much. Now when i record 25 fps, but in real actually it record the video in 15-13fps? What is the problem?

That's normal. If the FPS is really bad in the video though then there's a problem.

Navigate without it, it scares the crap out of you. Basically you have to navigate by shadows and glares from the walls. It's really difficult but it makes you sigh in great relief when you get to the elevator and such.

I love this game, one of the best games based on movies ever. (And one of the best games ever XP)
