I like his voice more when he was in cannibal corpse, I don't know if he lost his voice or something but he's not growling as good as he did 16-17 years ago...
I know there's varied opinions here, so I'm going to shoot mine out. I know, for the most of people in the death metal scene, they either love corpse, or six feet under, like the old school fans maybe went with chris to SFU etc. But Chris suited old school corpse, and Corpsegrinder suits new corpse I can't imagine it anyway different, and after watching the centuries of torment dvd, there doesn't seem to be any hostility between the guys personally i'm more of a corpse fan, but that's just me
@blackmetalpanther i agree with you violently. cannibal corpse is still awesome but in totally different ways. i love corpsegrinder and i love what he's done with the new album, but in comparison to my fav album, tomb of the mutilated, its a sad sad decline. i consider CC 1989-1995 a separate different band than CC 96-now. cannibal corpse still will always be my favorite band and Chris Barnes will always be my favorite singer.
