  • big deal, i can answer that

  • Koko is so beautiful and she'll be a great mum!

  • one day koko will figure out how to teach other apes sign language and they will all unite together to take over the world as we know it... they should make a movie based on koko... oh wait

  • awwwwwww

  • Nipple have coco's...love? O.O

  • they just teach them tricks like we can teach dogs how to "sit" humans been doing this to animals for hundreds of years even harming them to teach them tricks, this is not in an animals nature

  • @mrvideouploads1 like how we taught blacks and women tricks to talk like they are actually thinking.

why is it so hard for you people to believe that another animal can have thought? you are not as special as you think you are.

  • @IIkingdomII i never said animal cant have thought you idiot, go ask them how this is possible, they will tell you themselves that they train the monkeys and give them treats, so they learn, they probably starve the thing.

  • @mrvideouploads1 "they probably starve the thing". obviously you're the one who hasn't been taught how to think scientifically yet. ironic that you are pointing your finger at the animal saying that they lack thought.

  • @IIkingdomII i never said they lack thought you moron

  • @mrvideouploads1 lol calm down there spike. i was saying that you lack thought, not them. you give yourself too much credit.

  • @IIkingdomII how do you know what i do, kid? u dont know nothing what i think, stop assuming things and make yurself sound like a loser.

  • @IIkingdomII Dude he sounds half-retarded xD

  • this makes you reconsider zoos! animals have feelings too and we should not dispose of them like objects

  • Was this just from operant conditioning? Did this take a lot of positive reinforcement?

  • teach koko how to open a beer.

  • yay

  • and some morons say we aren't related

  • Planet of the apes is coming true people

  • its my doll bitch!

  • 0:16 "What are you lookin at?"

  • @damaband41 Thaha XD

  • Koko almost tore out the woman's hair...

  • koko need her friends and the NATUR

  • I think the lady wanted him to say "nipple" but the gorilla figured it would be more accurate to say "mouth" xD

  • that ape is way smarter than most of the people who commented on this video

  • They shaved the gorilla and it turned out to be...Michelle Obama

  • @ubuntungbelele you've posted that on several of koko's videos and it's never been funny...

  • This is adorable.

  • And some people believe the man came from mud and the women came from a Rib of this "mud men"....

    Yeah that's right!

  • How do we know Koko doesn't do all of this after being taught it via imitating humans? Maybe it's not cognition

  • @OZDE32 My thoughts exactly.

What we are presented with implies that she is completely free in perception.

you can train an animal to react to emotions - some don't even need it.

Dogs feed off their masters, if you are stressed, they are stressed.

I experienced this first hand when I took my guard dog in murder-capital of the world, Johannesburg, to peaceful new zealand, their character completely changed because my family was not constantly watching their back when coming and leaving home

  • @OZDE32

Oh your ignorance, Koko was recently given an IQ test adminstered through sign language. She scored 95, that's human average erasing any reasonable doubt of cognition. Also you're an idiot for assuming animals don't have cognitive abilities.

  • @JamesThWilliams you dumb faggot, the keeper had learned her all the questions in beforehand so when koko heard the question it didn't take much to know what she was gonna answer . You're cumdrained brain needs som critical thinking ability.

  • @OZDE32 things are even worse: keeper sent her all answers by email 3 days ahead of interview

  • @dtutubalin too bad a gorilla can't read. not even sign language.

  • @OZDE32 You're retarded. Humans learn those things through growing up and reflection. The fact that Koko learned that shit is super impressive and does reflect on her IQ.

  • @IronyBeaver your argument is invalid, you cunt

  • @OZDE32 And you don't have a reason why, therefore you're wrong. You get nothing. Good day, sir.

  • @IronyBeaver i have my arguments but you never presented yours you just called me retarded so either argument or continue your buttscratch championship

  • @IronyBeaver koko started learning this stuff after she grew up, not when she was a baby. even for humans, learning a new language after growing up is super hard.

  • @JamesThWilliams it was 70-95

  • 'nipple have koko, LOVE'

  • *_____*

  • This seems rather sad.....poor Koko wants to love a baby. (sniff sniff)

  • i think koko is longing for a baby gorilla to adopt. why not let her share her love?

  • @DavidFiveThirteen I heard that they were going to do a breeding program on her documentary or it's just the time she can breed, so I don't know.

  • Brilliant. She signed for the 'baby'!!

  • u stuped bitch u acting like the gorila is so fuking stuped the gorila will make a gun if u ask him..LOL

  • koko should have a baby. =D

  • koko want to have baby stupid human!

  • why doesn't she have her own baby?

  • Was Koko imitating breast feeding?

  • koko looks like forest whitaker.

  • that beast scared me..

  • ha, i like how koko kinda grabbed the lady's hair and then koko i guess realized and let go. interesting observation...

  • where does the baby drink koko? On your boobies penny. o.O

  • someone please let me know when she has her own!! She rly wants one. :)

  • lol what a bunch of bullshit. She asks a question and Koko just starts dumbly chewing on the doll so suddenly that gets twisted around to mean whatever the scientist wants.

  • Geez. Koko is smarter than 27% of the people I know.

  • i wish i was as buff as koko

  • I would be scared as shit to be in a cage with that thing, look how huge it is!

  • @Jackc095 yeah but she has been going in the cage with her for about 30 years. she probably thinks nothing of it

  • i dont want that gorilla to die she is so cute and smart!!! koko is gonna be my dogs or sumin name :] <3

  • awesome!

  • it's all fun and games until someone pisses koko off...

  • u racist fuck.. give him a black baby!

  • Holy FUCK that blew my mind thats awesome

  • When an 800 pound gorilla has you by the tits, you listen!

  • Wht she's speaking so loud? > Where does the baby drink? ...Koko needs to learn how to say: I'm not deaf!

  • @cecilia499a ROFL

  • after she says, "You love...," Koko gives the camera an interesting smirk

  • Is she ever going to have her own baby?

  • wow.. not only can she sign... she can make stuffed animals sign.. she's so creative

  • LOL. He caught her hair at 0:08....anyway, i think he's hungry ;)

  • i thought the answer was "breasts." Looks like the gorilla is smarter than me. =/

  • @Wolvenfire86

    lol, i thought the same!!!

  • @Wolvenfire86 MEE TOO! You're not the only one! LOL

  • Give koko a bottle of whiskey and see what happens

  • koko never have own baby been long time seem she never become mother i wonder.

  • Where does the baby drink koko? ME EAT BABEH!

  • @SparkleCorp lol u moron :P but fuck did u make me giggle! thanks! bahaha!

  • @SparkleCorp thats disrespect fool

  • @SparkleCorp YOU IS DOUCHBAG!

  • WOW wonders of nature. The grate ape is indeed smart

  • @pedi007 Ironic thing: Koko tested a higher IQ than the average sub-Saharan African by 25 points

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT Chimps have proven to be smarter than the most 7 year old Americans in some tests like memorizing objects etc. But no one is smarter than men...

  • @pedi007 Koko tested an IQ ranging between 85-95. The average sub-Saharan African IQ is 70

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT IMPOSSIBLE. I don't know what you are trying to say but every human has an IQ between 90-110. Above that you are very intelligent. And 70 is when you are mentally disabled. I don't know what you mean with sub-Saharan Africa. because even people who live in African Tribes are very smart because they have survived so many years without any kind if technology.

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT dude what´s wrong with you? average sub-saharan african IQ is 70? are you telling us that the average sub-saharan african is mentally retarded?? have you ever been to sub-saharan africa? there are smart people everywhere.

  • @meantime76

Go to these two Wikipedia pages

    IQ_and_Global_Inequality

    IQ_and_the_Wealth_of_Nations Not bullshitting

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT i think the only thing proven by these testing results is that the iq tests developed for western industrialized nations shpuld not be used in other cultural contexts. with all due respect. i have lived for some time in sub-saharan africa. 70 as the common iq for these people is just wrong.

  • @meantime76 The test may be biased, but then again, how did Koko test higher, considering the fact that he isn't even a human?

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT i doubt that the different iq tests used in a number of studies carried out in different cultural and social contexts are really suitable to lead to a discussion like "iq and global inequality". read "A systematic literature review of the average IQ of sub-Saharan Africans"

  • @pedi007 Says another great ape. (We are apes too, you know.)

  • @pedi007 sarcasm?

  • @Xquu15 nope. She is really smart isn't she??

  • @pedi007 yes very smart, the rise of the planet apes brought me here aswell :p, if she can talk, she can almost think like a human being, thats really amazing

  • @Xquu15 well I haven't watched the movie yet (is it any good?) , but yes apes (and other primates) are indeed very smart. There are even tests which shows that chimps have a better photographic memory than 7-9 year old children!!! But that's because human brain is much more complex and and chimps are able to focus on one thing only.

  • @pedi007 true, the movie was awsome, cool story.

  • @pedi007 You know there is a species of Great ape that rule the world and its called human. Sorry if my grammar sucked I am not a native English speaker

  • @GabXriel8 Yes indeed. There are four types of great apes or Hominidae.

chimpanzees, gorillas, humans, and orangutans. Those apes were even before the homo sapiens.

  • @pedi007 "Great ape".

  • @pedi007

You must mean G-R-E-A-T ape??? Yes,the great apes are smart...humans on the other hand.....
