I know its mothernature but I would have saved the pigeon and chased the hawk off. The hawk can catch and kill some other wildlife out of my view. What I don't get is 9 of every 10 people believe in god so that means 225,844 of these views are by people that believe in god and I'm the only none god believing person that would have saved the pigeons life. I say you all can keep god and god can kiss my ass.

@SuperShadowtwo I guess those 225,844 people are trying their best not to interfere with nature. Remember that the hawk may have nestlings of her own where she needs to feed as well. The pigeon caught may be the old or the sick one who couldn't escape like the others. This is natural selections. By chasing the hawk away, just like chasing someone away from his hard earning meal. Let nature takes its course and that is the way this world goes on :)

This is hard to watch, but honestly, this is the way things are. The hawk can't go to the super market and get a pound of ground hamburger to feed itself. She's gotta eat. Thats why you don't interfere with a kill. I know that sounds harsh but she's got a right to live just as much as any other being and she worked hard to make that kill. I'm weeping for that little morning dove, and I hope like heck she didn't have a nest of babies too, but it is what it is. I'm sorry...

The sparrow hawks gotta eat! I feel sorry for the pigeon but that is life, its not like the hawk is killing the pigeon for fun. Its called the food chain. Would you call a wildlife film maker a 'sicko' too, ie, for filming a lion hunting its prey? The only sick thing to do would be to interfere.

Suffering, yes but that happens EVERY DAY in the wild. You can't starve that hawk, it worked hard to kill that pidgeon.
