That is definitely true for a link style chain. Cup designs control the water much better, as long as they are designed properly. with open holes in the bottom and delivery from cup to cup is done right.

Perhaps something with cups would stop the spattering? But let's face it, if you are in the rain, things are going to get wet!

Watched the Weather Channel earlier (to see if we'd have a frost tonight) and watched the reporters fight the San Francisco wind and rain!
