i picked this random title up from the library. I'm glad i did. It was one of the best indie shoestring budget movies ive ever seen! High recommendation for people who appreciate good movies and not just hollywood blockbusters

That was a tough year for best actress, Kate Winslett for The Reader and Melissa Leo for Frozen River. Either one was worthy of the Oscar.

Saw this movie only hearing good things but thought "is this really gonna be that good?" (saw it in theaters)....i just dove RIGHT INTO the movie.

The natural, raw feeling and filming of it was a good change for once, and was PERFECT for this atmosphere.

It all felt real, like you were helping them smuggle immigrants, and was still suspenseful without having to use excess violence.

Melissa Leo is STILL too underated EVEN after being nominated.
