I actually heard that in the original idea for avatar, Katara was to have a crush on Zuko. One thing I learned in writing: NEVER give up on REALLY good original ideas!!!

@LoaPrayr941 That's not true. I like this pair for example - it's pretty logical for me. I find it very hard for them live together, but they can teach each other power of two opposite elements. Thanks to that strong experience their souls can be reincarnated as avatars in future... What I wrote before was only a little advice for Aang. Roku was undoubtedly very talented but I don't accept him as the chosen one. He was just link in the chain of avatars.
