Ummm btw the doorway stratagy is really good it just depends on what tank u have warrior should dooryway and pally and dk should do in the corner druids either or cause as a warrior its extremelly hard trying to aggro all the mobs at once when they come at the corner so then when ur group dps they aggro everyone and wipe its better for war to just charge one then tuant and heroric throw at the others then pull them all togther we cant just throw down and aoe like dks and pally...

you didnt talk about skeleton guy right after first 2 bosses. He will summon corrupted version of players in your group so you'll have to fight yourself as well. Nifty trick is to have tank bring the guy into the room where you fought first 2 bosses and kill him there. This way you wont have to fight yourself.

i really hated this instance for the longest time ( my main is a prot pally ) but after i got better tanking wise, it got alot easier. The strat you used makes it alot harder on the healer.

If however you're a tank or healer AND running pugs, attempting hor hc in such terrible gear would be unwise. You'd be asking for a wipe-fest, unless you had an imba group to hold you up.

@shockie888 definitely not 5k, i'm mostly in blues with only 4 epics, I think i'm doing somewhere around 2.5k, lol. (i'm gearing, but it's slow going for me) you just need to think fast and remember ppl are relying on you as much as you are them. I did this instance for the first time tonight and it was wild, and fun... and had a fun group, which definitely helped.

I've run in three groups now that when we got to the part with Arthas, we pulled to the side, just outside the doors and allowed Arthas to pass by. He still summons undead we have to grind quickly but we don't have Arthas breathing down our necks. The undead will fly from Arthas, no matter how far away he is to attack. So, the only time constraint is burning the undead down fast enough for Jaina/Sylvanas to bring down the ice walls.

kinda boring instance tbh, the 2 bosses (no, the Lich king aint a real boss in this imo) are very easy to deal with, they have very few special abilities, adn they arent very impressive as long as the healer doesnt sleep. In fact, the mobs are more challenging in this case, and by challenging I mean that they are annoying.

For me Lich King is one of those annoying encounters where sometimes I'll wipe constantly and sometimes I'll one-shot it and I can't really tell what the group did differently to make it so successful. Maybe once I tank it on my pally alt I'll get a better understanding of it.

Something funny is that pur first run it bugged Lich King reset behind us after two minutes, wqe had jumped down to the ship. He used the forstmourne thing and killed everyone but me. I survived because of Ardent Defender :D

What's weird for me is that LoS (Line of Sight) doesn't work well when I run this instance. The group almost always wipes at least once, and I've spent a lot of gold on repairs after all of the times I've ran this. However, we almost never wipe when we're by the entrance. I don't know if it's the groups that I'm in or if there really is a flaw in doing the LoS strategy, but in my experience, LoS usually leads to a lot of repair bills and pissed off players.
