Congratulations to Billy for his courage to allow himself to think and admit that there are other doors to salvation. Clearly the Gospel was misunderstood at first...but is this awareness/consciousness in the Gospel?

Out of all the Billy graham sermons that I heard , I never found him denying Christ. This is just a false accusation against an innocent man. Just as Jesus said If the Son of Man is called Beelzebub, his followers will be called even worse names.

God speaks to these men who are commanded to reveal to mankind His plan of salvation, His will, His character, and His truth. Well in the Protestant Churches all believers are the 'saints'.....or at least all the church members are counted as such. This reckoning comes from one of St Paul's letters to one of the churches where he addresses all the saints....they take it he meant the members of the church.
Great film - Graham remains one of the iconic figures of the 20th Century. It is a matter of fact that over 3 million people chose to accept the Gospel through attending his meetings. There is an excellent biography of Graham with Sir David Frost on voice over that really does sum up some of his impact - truly an amazing Man of God.

I love his crusades in the 50's - They are all powerful - The new movie out on the beginning part of his life -to me -didn't really capture God's drawing presence at those crusades but then that would be like trying to harness the wind I suppose -
Billy Graham once said at a Minister's convention in the late 50's or early 60's that he can hold a crusade and have 30 thousand converts and come back next year and can't find 3.
But that is not how it was with the Apostles...they had a few converts that would turn into thousands.
What we need is staying power as Christians...we need more Remah, the revealing of the Word of God. John 3:16 is wonderful, but to a Christian hungry for more of the Lord, God has so much more in store.
Of all the Evangelical Pastors I have ever kept abreast of, the Reverend Billy Graham has NEVER once come under public ridicule.

Billy Graham now preaches Universalism, how this man who once give such fiery sermons has deviated so much from the faith is beyond me. He makes no mention of the consequences of denying the Savior that leads to eternal damnation. He is a full canidate for sainthood. I've never seen one man lead so many to Christ. He's a blessing to the faith, regardless of denomination.
Who has led so many to Christ, who else is attributed to so many saved lives in God's name? I can't think of one since the Apostle Paul.
Who else agrees that Billy Graham should be a saint? Can you petition the Pope?

Well in the Protestant Churches all believers are the 'saints'.....or at least all the church members are counted as such. This reckoning comes from one of St Paul's letters to one of the churches where he addresses all the saints....they take it he meant the members of the church.

Great film - Graham remains one of the iconic figures of the 20th Century. It is a matter of fact that over 3 million people chose to accept the Gospel through attending his meetings. There is an excellent biography of Graham with Sir David Frost on voice over that really does sum up some of his impact - truly an amazing Man of God.

Billy Graham once said at a Minister's convention in the late 50's or early 60's that he can hold a crusade and have 30 thousand converts and come back next year and can't find 3.
But that is not how it was with the Apostles...they had a few converts that would turn into thousands.
What we need is staying power as Christians...we need more Remah, the revealing of the Word of God. John 3:16 is wonderful, but to a Christian hungry for more of the Lord, God has so much more in store.

Of all the Evangelical Pastors I have ever kept abreast of, the Reverend Billy Graham has NEVER once come under public ridicule.
This is because he knows the enemy, and always took Biblical precautions in His service to the Living God! I haven't met him "yet", but am looking forward to meeting him when I get "home".
His biography "Billy Graham" is excellent and his book on death and dying can be a great help to those who struggle with loss.
