Well, I think believing in Yahweh is "stupid and immature". And Christianity is also inherently intolerant, so who gives a shit if a bunch of Christians are offended?
And I don't think BR's #1 priority is getting everyone to like them. They don't seem like guys who will compromise their views for popularity.

Incidentally, I think Brett has it wrong about ol' Jesus. As Hitchens says, "It was not until Jesus meek and mild that we even have hell and damnation...There's no hell in the old testament." Not sure how a "progressive liberal" says believe in me or go to hell. Progressive liberals are also the people who want to control you the most -- even worse than christian conservatives if that's possible.
