  • shirley frimpong is good in writing and directing movies,....luv ur movies a lot

  • good movie but bad sound

  • Good movie.

  • Ghanaian Movie producers are trying but need to particually pay much and serious attention to the language used in their movies. The F, BS and S words are inappropriate. If they are coping the western style of acting they should focus on the technological advancement.

  • GREAT MOVIE!!

  • ghanaian movies are good based on the stories but with too much sex scenes.they must try to limit or control those parts so that it would be viewerble to all and sundry.i am saying this as a muslim

  • @alromahct i dnt thnk thrz anythng wrong wth the sex scenes till wen wil we run away from it,the mre we hide from dis the more our children want 2 xperiment and i bet u will be even ashamed wen ur child comes hme wth a bump on her tummy...ps im also sayin dis as a christian:D

  • @nyasha56 so as a christian., u believe sex scenes should replace responsible sex education??? u r talkin outta ur ass

  • Nice twist in the storyline - unpredictable. As usual, the calibre of actors are second to none. Well done, I felt captivated and really enjoyed it throughout.

  • this movie was ok.

  • This is the best movie i've seen n enjoyed, well directed, produced and analyzed!

Lydia played the character very well.

  • Ghana rocks,nice movie.

  • Ghana has good story lines and great script writers, but their actors lack facial expressions and most times cant interpret the script very well.. nevertheless great movie..

  • @lazon9ja

facial expressions is a more of a nigerian thing. watch a lotta of American drama movies and u wiil notice they dont do much facial expressions yet they deliver. acting is not all about facial expressions u know. this is more soulful type of acting without unnecessary facial expressions, and shouting. i agree some were new but they ve gotten better. this was shirleys first movie i think

  • @giftybumpa12 so please make your points without tongue bashing other. I love Nigerian movies, Ghana movies esp any by Sirley Frimpong. Am glad I can watch it on-line (and its free) after a hard days work in a foreign land. It makes me feel at home. The best we can do is to support them especially when its done legally.

  • @giftybumpa12 I usually do not dabble in people's argument especially when they are not based on facts. But I must confess that your comment got me thinking, was it justified? We are all Africans and should appreciate our efforts collectively. We should not try to bring another down to score a cheap point. In essence, what I am saying is, you do not have to say that nollywood love plagiarises people's work to make your point. With the much I know, he's got permission for the works he uploads

  • whats the name of the song at the end?

  • @Mavra23

its titiled daa ke daa by Becca

  • This film seems like a south african film

  • I'm Nigerian. But i LOVE Ghana movies

  • Chris Attoh is fine....

    Oh Lord! hav mercy!!

    lol

  • @giftybumpa12 just take things and stop abusing people on how to use dr brains, its a free world and anybody can make dr own comments

  • I must say that Ghana is on its game big time with their movie industry. The quality and audio are great. The music is also great and is played when it should be. Keep up the good work. Ms. Shirley keep writing... I am so loving your scripts.

  • great one seems so real

  • I don't see the end of the movie, Dea and VIolet are friend and everybody else goes to jail but I don't see how?

  • nice and clean movie

  • nice movie

  • good movie!!

  • Why are u all having problems with their accents? They all sound natural to me. The accents do not seem forced. Moreso they sound perfect for anyone from any where in the world to listen without straining to understand the pronounciations. Kudos Ghana!!! from Toronto Canada

  • @asantimaa thanks

  • Why does there always have to be some kind of seperation between Africans! sheesh, even when there's no problem we work hard to create one amongst ourselves. If Nollywood and gollywood(?) come together and work for the better representation of the AFRICAN MOVIE INDUSTRY, I am pretty sure we would be much better than we are. Nollywood is always gonna be the first "big" film industry in Africa and Gollywood can learn from that. Stop fighting over nothing!!!

  • @kingkongfoot look at this idiot talking out of his or her ASS..this is about fake ass nigerians plagirizing ghana movies and worse changing the name of the ghanaian directors to nigerian names...if this isnt pure jeaulosy then i dnt kno wat is!!

  • i was glued 2 my seat all thru......thanks sribuo!!!

  • watwas the song at 1:20:48

  • my only problem with ghanian movies is that they try to americanize it so much especially wit accents just stick to ur own culture

  • Good movie!!!

Good that Dea had rallied in the end!!

  • beautiful movie :)

  • @giftybumpa12 oh yeah baby give em that.lol though am not a ghanian nor a naija,am a cameroonian ,but love u both.BUT I KNW WHERE BOTH OF U BELONG.ghana n naija ar two different things

  • nyc movie... beautiful

  • nice movie..thn for uploading it

  • well done kwame slc,u've done justice to what i was about to do.............infact we don't want any so called nollywood movies............we are ok n proud with ours....so take it or leave it dude...........Gh 4 life

  • @kumasicharley kente is the one of the best old Gh actors........i dnt knw if u've watched Gh movies in the mid 90s...........if u have then u will know what am talking about...............he's just a good actor but i wonder why our producers are not using him....anyway....thnx to shirly frimpong manso 4 featuring him in her movie.....he brings bac the good old days zmemory of 90s when it was Ghama films n not Ghallywood.........lol

  • the actors in this movie could have done a much better job,i saw about three of these actors in another movie where they totaly delivered. What happened here? That woman became unessesaryly vindictive.

  • the actors in this movie could have done a much better job,i saw about three of these actors in another movie where they totaly delivered. What happened here?

  • Wow Ghanian film industry rocks!.The story lines are always so strong & keep u on ur toes...

  • I liked the movie because of the twists, and it wasn't predictable. But it wasn't clear why the wife was in the wheelchair. Dea drugged her she fell out of the wheelchair, husband put her to bed, but when he joined her in bed she was moving her legs just fine. That lefe a hole in the story.

Yay for the women that know they don't have to take an ass kicking. I'm kinda like Dea come to think of it!

  • @MsNayners24 it means u didn't follow the story line carefully, dea gave her tablets which made her sleap mad,the husband took her to her bed n she revived after some tym

  • @ramadan1090 No, I got that part. I was thinking because she was in the wheelchair, she had lost her ability to walk. Which means whether she was drugged or not, she wouldn't have had the ability to move her body in that way. Also, in (I think) her final scene she was curled up next to her husband on a sofa. If for any reason she needed a wheelchair, she wouldn't have been able to sit in that position. Bottom line, I think the director missed it or left it like that to see who would notice.

  • like

  • awful actors

  • I am from nigeria and i feel like ghanaian movies are better than nigerian movies by far, they take their time, instead giving us bullshit to watch...so talk about that.

  • @SuperGinger82 what planet r u from? ghanaian are gud, but now their movies have a lot of soft porn in it.

  • nice movie with some lessons keep it up

  • who will eat that kinda food in the bigining of the movie?

  • i loved it

  • Not so impressed! Good thing I watched Perfect picture before this. The acting here is somewhat below professional standard I must confess. Imagine Lydia Forson looking into the camera @ 34.07- 34.08!

  • wow lydia u are sooo hot.....good 1 there...

  • gahnian movies beat nigerian movies hands down

  • I LOVE GHANA MOVIES......

  • I thought this movies was stupid in the beginning. However, it had a great twist. I give it 4 and a half stars out of 5, only because they did not show the men nude! All of them were mad sexy. I mean come on, they are in Africa. Ain't they suppose to be in the nude anyway. lol

  • @giftybumpa12 Cant believe what i am reading, is this tribalism ? this platform is not meant for that , Is this How u guys plan the African Union, I watch all type Ghana Nigerian Cameroon Cote ivoire Mali Burkina And even Asian movies, Pliz there is a saying in africa that Better not talk if u have nothing to say,What a Shame my dear sis and bros from africa , This is just meant for entertainment , dont u guys watch Western movies ? So stop the hate

  • Im confused as to why the abused wife's mother has a picture of a white Jesus on one wall and a picture of Farrakhan on the other? Please explain.. Im not done watching the movie, but this caught my attention in a major way.

  • can someone pls tell me the name of the song sang in 1:20:00 Im nigerian but i like the song. I think it say da keda keda etc. Thanks in advance.

  • @MsSolatunde if u check at 1:56:05 it says the song is called "daake daa" and it was written by Kwabena Akaboe and pergormed by BECA. Im Nigerian too so have no idea what Daake Daa means

  • @ta1woang3l DAAK3 DAA MEANS........EACH AND EVERYDAY

  • @MsSolatunde i loved the song so much that i decided to see if i can find it on youtube loool... /watch?v=mLztVfrR_ro

some ppl have given the translation in the comments too.

  • @MsSolatunde Daa ke daa by becca.. btw am nigerian too

  • Nice movie, is there a part 2? Thanks for posting.

  • Well I like the effort of this writer however I think this template has been abused. It runs in all her stories. With CGIs and other techniques, the level of sophistication of movies ( especially western movies as this writer aspire to become) nowadays is pretty high so I hope that would also be considered in future movies. I felt the Ghanaian touch was missing.Several teachable moments. All in all Love your work Shirley. I think the direction of the movies nowadays is losing the Ghanaian touch.

  • this movie is on point like an arrow

  • nice one..thank u nolly love

  • @24amaka Thanks for the comment but this is is a Ghanaian movie and not a Nollywood one. Also the channel name is sribuo and not nollywoodlove. You should check out our channel and subscribe to us.
