I doubt they will scratch Ash Crimson from the storyline. I know it makes no sense appearing in the next games after Ash's ending, but he had a major role in the past and those sprites for a single character are expensive as hell to just throw them away.

It's really sad that KOF just got overshadowed by other fighting games.

They have potential to be a great fighting game. Some of these type of characters are like from one of those classic animes.

I like their approach now to be 100% handdrawn everything. It's just such a different approach.

Most games will go to 3d graphics.

@n64central Iori regains his magatama once Ash disappears. Mature and Vice remarks that he can still choose to refuse the treasure, saving himself from the Orochi curse once and for all. He questions what will happen to his teammates if he should accept the treasure again. Therefore, he mercilessly regains his flames and his teammates disappear once more from the mortal realm. Back in action, he challenges Kyo to an undecided outcome.

Yes, he did. He trapped his ancestor in the present, making it so he would be erased from existence as a last resort to keep Those From The Past from trying to reclaim the powers they needed to reawaken Orochi. That isn't to say that Ash can't return for dream matches, though ;)

Poor Ash :-( he was the most interesting hero ever, not only that but he was sweet and cute.When I first saw his ending I teared up a bit for I like many other Ash fans are so attached to the character. I felt bad for Elizabeth because she lost the person that she loved most (C'mon now I think they are secretly in love, no matter what anyone says I feel this way). What makes it more sad that are Duo and Shen can't remember him.

Anyways since you seem like an Ash fan if so watch my Ash animation. I'm glad someone like you is at least sad about Ash. I don't ever got why people hate Ash. I mean he's the definition of Awesome. Wow, Thank-you so much for posting the endings. Ash's ending was the saddest. What a bittersweet end to a beautiful hero. Ash is the best hero of KOF history :- ( He sacrificed his own life to save Elisabeth, the woman he loved. In my opinion and observation Ash's and Betty's cutscenes had romantic undertones. I say this because the mood and setting seemed intimate. Adding to all of this, If those of you like Ash and Elisabeth. Please check out my channel.

Just to clarify....for those who are confused....Mature and Vice convinced Iori to enter KOF 13.....but he didn't have his flame.....that's why he wanted to kill Ash. To get his powers back. And that thing he held in his hand was the reset for all his powers, including his blood curse, which makes him go berserk. He does regain his purple flames, and that is shown in the Japan team ending, which is probably why the uploader linked them together. Hope you enjoyed this comment! :)
