Any thing can be done through sheer perseverance, talent is not so important in many aspects. You have no idea how huge an amount of practices he's had to get there!! What he's playing is around a grade 10 piece, and it's easy to get to grade 10 in 5 years, I got to grade 5 in a few months, and since he doesn't have school, he's had all the time in the world, not to say his father as his mentor...

he is so much more than most of the so called protégés out there. Most are all flash and don't have a true love for the music they create. I was skeptical when i saw him preform flight of the bumblebee because that song is so much flash and not a lot of feeling. This was spectacular and I KNOW that he is not so much interested in making 1 billion dollars with the piano but instead creating beautiful music for not only others but for himself to enjoy.
