  • he should win the this

  • Ok this lil guy's Jackie Chan's son

  • it's a mini michael mcintyre

  • But a justin Bieber passes through, that's a pity!

  • his father looks like jaki chan

  • ...Stop talking then, Intelligence. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by 'grades', but seriously does it matter?! Stop bragging and just let him soak up the limelight!

  • Oops. I liked IntelligencePrevail's post, and then I read the rest of it. crap u. You are just being mean to the guy!!!!!! GRRRR!!! I've been playing 6 years and am playing late intermediate-early advanced pieces, don't tell me he doesn't have school either. I am 12 and in 8th grade, but two of my courses have rolled over to 9th because I finished the 8th grade ones, and I am taking algebra. I don't have anyone in my family that plays piano anymore, or at least not anyone who would teach me.....

  • another victim of racism....

  • well, he is an asian what did we expect???

    so wonderfull!!!! i luv him!!! :D :D

  • oh man...If there was Asia's Got Talent, that would be the most amazing show ever.

  • kyle really doesn't know what good music is if it bit him on the ass

  • COME OVER TO AMERICA WE WILL VOTE YOU THROUGH SO YOU CAN WIN!!

  • Lang Lang and Li Yundi have got a new competitor...:))

  • Lang Lang and Li Yundi have got a new competitor...:))

  • amaizing :x

  • Kid should have played something people would recognize, he would have made it in to the Final.. No one voted because no one appreciated the song he was playing.

  • @PenguinFury Too true, such a shame

  • ooooooh the passion!

  • Skill level: Asian

  • I'm going to slay someone, he should have made it..

  • It's just not fair... All things european can do, asians do better.

  • Any thing can be done through sheer perseverance, talent is not so important in many aspects. You have no idea how huge an amount of practices he's had to get there!! What he's playing is around a grade 10 piece, and it's easy to get to grade 10 in 5 years, I got to grade 5 in a few months, and since he doesn't have school, he's had all the time in the world, not to say his father as his mentor...

  • @STENoYsE Maybe he hit it with his thumb from the top? Dip shyt...

  • people didn't vote, because they are lazy, jalouse, junk food eating tv watchers, simples as that, sadly but true :)

  • Mutanteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. amazing.

  • Thats impressive for anyone the fact that the kid is 7 is incredible

  • Comment removed

  • THIS IS UNBELEIVEABLE!!

  • OHHH PIANO LEVEL:ASIAN

    Take That Chuck Norris

  • damn... when hes older he will be deff the best piano player in the world

  • As it was going round the back of him I felt like it should be a movie, where as they come round to the front of him he's 20 years older and he's performing in a great hall in-front of millions.

  • don't be surprised!!!!!he's asian!!!

  • 5 to 6 hours exercise a day and you see what you get, pretty nice

  • piano level: Aisan

  • that fat jury is a ashole

  • Classical (jazz) music is an acquired taste and not everyone is going to appreciate it... people prefer to listen to simple tunes unfortunately.... he should have played CHOPIN, both technical and easy to listen..

  • future maxim mrvica

  • 'my dad is the best teacher i ever met' (then when they interview the dad) "I force him to learn the piano piece, normally and then backwards'.............

  • its a pity he shouldve won like you said that is pure talent and he was blessed to be a pianist i myself cant even play twinkle twinkle little star -_-

  • hey lay off he just a kid

  • American Dad: it's okay son you did your best now let's go to Disneyland

Asian Dad: F*** You You disHONNOR our Famry you better be a Doctor; Lawyer; or a Engineer someday

  • 22 people listen only to auto tuned crap and don't know what it means to learn a trade like the piano..pity

  • WAAAAAH! I will never be able to play in public if I move to asian. the kids have everything over me.

  • The asians have finally done it, created Benjamin Button Serum - this is actually a 60 year old professional pianist!

  • Great now play death waltz

  • FUCK HE DIDNT? @grs1963ct

  • @SuperFangTeeth Nope, the viewers did not even vote him through to the final. What a pity!

  • @grs1963ct well, he did not choose a very accessible piece. Not saying it isn't good (it was amazing), but most people might not see how amazing (and difficult) it is to be at this level (or do they even see how far he is at 7yo?).

  • @cloj63 Yes, he should have chosen a piece that's known at least to sertain level of the public. I do not think the public cared about his age OR how good he is for his age. The general public, who is doing the voting...I think they were not entertained enough. What a pity though!

  • @grs1963ct he should have chosen something like "für elise" that would have gotten him through for sure, nobody knows this melody (99% of people at least that is). too bad wrong chose of music

  • troll level: asian !

always an asian, who's got the skills :D

  • do his hands start hurting they mmsut

  • it doesnt count if their asians

  • Buys awesome detailed epic piano, only to play the keys like a complete dumb ass after watching this.

  • What a talent!

  • who cares that he's asian. he's really fucking good.

  • Level off awesomeness: Asian.

  • LOOOL

White guy's who've been playing piano their whole lives play like that.

AND THE ASIAN KID ONLY LEARNT FOR 5 YEARS!

    Top of the race: Asians

    And i'm black.

  • he's good, but he looks like he is being tazered.

  • Spaz.

  • big mistake to not vote this kid into the final.

  • if i too smash my hands on a piano

will it make a song ?

  • Amazing as this child is... He does look slightly like he's having a fit at that piano.

  • every asian's first piano lesson.

  • Beautiful I started playing at 3yrs old and never could focus enough to get to this level. This takes more than force, it take a self dedication to the art. kudos to this kid. He is truly talented and will pack stadiums all over the world. This is truly remarkably Incredible. His dreams will come true.

  • Robot boy

  • is his father jackie chan??

  • all you raciest people stop saying his got diffuclty just because he is asian how about this all you assuies are big raciest scum you low lifers

  • wow he is so cute :)

  • @Thaoolol In any case, how could such a hot mom give birth to such a weirdo?

  • @Criticalperspective2 your name truly suits you. You are a "CRITICAL" human being with a Narrow "PERSPECTIVE" with an IQ of "2".

  • @babamarktesoro Thank you for the compliments. Perhaps the most parochial of us two would be you, considering you are judging someone over youtube you have never met.

  • @Criticalperspective2 sorry just examining you from your previous comments. You deserve to be called out.

  • @babamarktesoro Over a little kid playing piano? Ha.

  • Zhonghua minzu wansui!

  • As a chinese kid, perfect copying and zero creativity.

  • He didnt get through cos everyone voted for Shaun

  • his magic is like music.... .. I mean... you know..

  • Fuck austrialias, Americas, britains, Canadians, Africans, got talent bullshit. They don't even judge you if you have talent; they judge you on whether or not the crowd likes you or not.

  • imagine him fingering a chick

  • @becstarisababe

    Troll level: Expert.

  • @becstarisababe Seriously he's 7 years old watch your mouth

  • @Takalonti1 old enough to count, old enough to mount

  • @becstarisababe Your fucking sick, dude. That's a little kid..

  • @PenguinFury what did they say?

  • @becstarisababe

thats the price you pay to be an asian, you have no other option... (:

  • HE IS SO BLOODY AMAZING

  • I was just about to write, no one should be teaching their 7 year old to play Rachmaninoff yet.....then I watched the video.

  • Dad - "Here is a piano, play for your life."

  • Funny how a 7 year old brings class to the show

  • @Thexsmileymileyx

No he came second to a dance group called Justice Crew if u search them on YouTube u will find them!

  • @pinkglass10 @Thexsmileymileyx: Shaun Hern did not came second. He was not voted through to the final by the public. In 2010, Justice crew won & Cameron Henderson (singer) came second.

  • @pinkglass10 justice crew got nothing on this lad singers and dancers all ways win over instrument players ...... like tom ward and boy wonder

  • Asian Dad:Now play that backwards1

  • cant wait to see/hear him when he's older!

  • he is so much more than most of the so called protégés out there. Most are all flash and don't have a true love for the music they create. I was skeptical when i saw him preform flight of the bumblebee because that song is so much flash and not a lot of feeling. This was spectacular and I KNOW that he is not so much interested in making 1 billion dollars with the piano but instead creating beautiful music for not only others but for himself to enjoy. The best of luck in the future!

  • Dani is talented too, she has a great ass!

  • Pure talent. But people do not appreciate it enough.

  • 0:56 HIS DAD IS JACKIE CHAN!

  • @wosoitti I was just about to say that, you got there first... well played

  • This guys the next Lang Lang right there defo.

  • did he win?

  • @Thexsmileymileyx Unfortunately not. The Aussie public did not vote enough to get him in the final.

  • @grs1963ct because of his asia face?

  • If you look at around 2:53, the keys are going down and up really weird... as if he isn't actually pressing them. I don't think he's actually playing that.

  • @jaspersnoncool Not true. A part of technique for piano is pressing the keys closer to the back. If you look really closely, you can see his thumb is actually pressing those keys at the BACK, not at the front.

  • Is there anything Jackie Chan cant do?

  • 20 asian dads watched this video

  • @temelkovv Nah just one dad then he showed his kid 20 times to show all of the mistakes

  • he must be trained by master yoda

  • he and sungha jung should meet

  • haha!! he should try the "Death Waltz" or Circus Gallop..!

  • where are the great asian composers and improvisators? but rachmaninov and liszt are good for entertainment, especially when it's played by a 7 years old kid... but in these age, kids should be creative and not just learning finished pieces...but asian education can't make real artists. ( ai wei wei is a true artist, that's why he has trouble in asia)

  • oh shuan... wait until you meet chopin

  • now i feel like a disgrace to the asian race.

  • @lolface111234 As do I.

  • @lolface111234 don't worry your not the only one I feel you bro.

  • likeable kid

  • y'know, Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach are German.Verdi is Italian. Mussorgsky is Russian. Now i;m looking at a five year old Asian kid playing like a pro. Americans REALLY need to step it up

  • o_O i wanna see and hear him play "Dealth WAltz" D:

  • im asian and 13, ive been playing for 4 years and im no where near as good as him -,-"

  • good now play backward

  • reporter : hey shuarn, how did you do that?

shuarn : just be an asian..

  • Sungha ...is that you?

  • Comment removed

  • personally i think he should stop performing as much as he does and work with a real teacher. his technique is unreal for his age but expression needs some work.

  • @CPclassicalguitarist

who cares. that kids off the walls. he's like taz from loony toons with direct caffeine injection. hes probably the next lang lang

  • Level of difficulty: Asian

  • this is crazy shit..

  • I did not get too much of feeling there, but omg this is a 7 years old playing Rachmaninoff!!!! I still suffer to play when I am already 17 (much better though) Even Rachmaninoff him self can't do this. Hope he keep up with his playing

  • Starting at 3:36 there's a hot chick with some sick hair in the background. lul.

  • Holy shit.. just imagine how difficult that is to play..

  • this is not a robotic performance and this separates him from others. Enough said.

  • By the way pianists can own this sort of show anyday anywhere!

  • Stand ovation to him, just wish that everyone who picked up an instrument and was able to be good/great at it in the span of 3-5 years would be recognized, but i guess it's just the way things are. This child is good, could become even greater given time. There are few people in this world who choose music with a passion, and even fewer who take the steps to become greater than they have set.

  • @USful Aye Aye sir i commend you :)

  • first I saw he was playing with his eyes closed, then I saw that there where no papers.... And than I though: Holy shit! He's playing it by heart! Woooow.....

  • @MathiAelitaGirl Umm... you don't play piano or any instrument do you? Because most players learn the piece for about 1-2 months then we practice playing by heart.

  • He says "thank you" twice everytime. The second"thank you" is usually louder 0_0

  • Scratch Australia, this little guy deserves to be on "The World's got Talent"

  • Shuan's got shwag.

  • THATS TALENT!!! not the fucking "justice crew"!!!!

  • for a boy as young as 7 and has this pure emotion when he played rachmaninoff, this is what we called a pure talent...

  • normal is that boy normal!!!!! o I forgot he's asian

  • its so triply watching him play the piano; the way his fingers moves 100mph lol

  • I LOVE how he ended the piece hahahaha jumped

  • its cool

  • does he get 2 the finals

  • Hes sooooooooooo cute!!!!!

  • ahahahaha, my orchestra played that orchestral song at 0:33... *feels so bad that I'm so stereotypical Asian that's the first thing I notice in the video...* OTL

  • future lan lan

  • if jackie chan played the piano...

  • chuck norris+ asian = this kid

  • @TheTopsumbong Don't be ridiculous. Chuck Norris gave him a strand of his hair and ever since, he created the Asian difficulty.

  • omg its the new lang lang!!

  • i have been playing for 6 years and are shit.

  • all asians look alike

  • @YOYOBEAR10 ... racist much????

  • @YOYOBEAR10 how the hell that all asians look alike?? its fucking stupid. btw, asians aren't all chinese, korean japanese. In other parts of asia especially they look completely different so u people won't call them asian even though they are.

  • just goes to show no matter how good you are at ANYTHING theres always an asian thats better than you

  • @TheLouis1996 yes yes we are;)

  • @TheLouis1996 ok people please stop with the asian jokes its just that asians tend to try and practice harder so get of your xboxes and go fucking prectice.

  • @CodMod2Freak You're obviously not of Asian descent, because your grammar is atrocious. Go download Firefox at least. It has automatic spell-check. You need it.

  • @RefinedSuicide just because i accidentally pressed the wrong button on a keyboard means that i am not asian? sir... please shut up.

  • @TheLouis1996 LOL, hardly true, but this made my day. LOL

  • @TheLouis1996 And sometimes said Asian will be only 7 years old...

  • @TheLouis1996 so you really think, there is a trained asian which is better than keith jarrett in his stuff? sorry..but you guys don't know the difference between creativity (composing, improvisation) and just have a great technique to play a classical piece. mozart wasn't a prodigy because he could play good piano. he was a prodigy because he made great compositions and improvisations. circus artists aren't prodigies either...they just started to practice very early..

  • @maugarice Can't blame you for getting angry xD people would get pissed at white people for saying they are good at everything, but i don't believe in color i believe in genetics.
