@ajbusc78 It's his job. VERY FEW musicians are truly out there only because they love to perform. They all hope to get their big chance. He has been able to build his empire of the last 40 years. It's like how fans of sports teams all of a sudden hate a player because he left their team and went to play for the rival team for more money. It is their job. Most people would leave one job to go work for another company doing the same thing for more money. Can't fault a guy for bettering himself.

A Correction (a few) to you. Yes, pretty much all music has at least a bit of acoustic history, although most didn't stem from it. Percussion is most likely the main root for Hip Hop and Rap, but they DO have acoustic roots.
