@mrinswing most LED kits will come with a remote or a seperate brain that you can turn on and off... I have my kit ran off a cigerate lighter which remains powered on even with the car off so if i want to use the remote to turn on the LED's while outside the car you can. otherwise if you use a existing circut that is ignition on dependent you are limited to when you can use them. Some people run it directly to the batterie... be careful though and always use an inline fuse just incase of a short

@stephon218 Im glad i could inspire you. I sure had fun doing it. Be sure to use EVEry supplied hanger... Last winter i had ice build up under the car and ripped both my passanger side light bars off. they have been in the car with teh wires coming through the door since. havent gotten around to fixing them yet.
@billiambarnett yeahi had that happen with my white led kit. Learned to zip tie things. Lost 2 leds and stripped wire from another one. Had to end up buying 3 new tubes. Dont really have to worry about snow in alabama because dont get high enough if i do move to north carolina like im planing to in a few years will do so but by then i am sure i would have bought engine neons and the well neons.

@101jon101 with the basic tools you can easily do it... good luck bro. With the GT you will need the same kit i have... the "truck" Kit that way you get light the full length of the vehicle
@trampmastr havent had any isues yet. Just watch for low parking curbes or when you back out of driveways. I just borke my front light not to long ago. :-(

@element9tality They kit actually comes with a module so you can set it up... I am just manually clicking through the settings in the video... The problem with my car is if i use this feature with the amount of bass i have the lights say on and occasionally flicker off. lol..
music at the end kinda reminded me of a crazy raved out knight rider haha :p very cool though. and my friend had leds in his car that did seizure mode and we drove through the city at 10 at night with the system blasting and the leds flashing and we could see all these black people giving us dirty looks. but any way, very cool work.
@Chillinvillin23 I havent had much issue with the kit. Im sure over time the clear tubes will get scuffed up but for $220 im not complaining its once you have everything in swaping tubes is pretty much cake... as for the price and link... its in the description.
@beats4urcar already been pulled over many of times. lol... I usually only run green solid colors just because they are less suspicious. HOwever blue and red are legal too.
@jgood123 Yea. they are only like $250 and there is no easy way to remove them. To much of a pain in the ass to remove them. As long as they have a good surrounding they will be fine.
Hey, I have a golf gti but it doesnt have a body kit or anything and its not lowered. Do you think these would still look good? Also do you think that it would be better for me to get the truck leds or the standard leds for a car cause im pretty sure the wheel base for my car is shorter than yours. thanks!

@dddaan2 The lights are not hooked up to the music, HOWEVER that is an option. The wires splice into a speaker wire and are fed into the controol box which controles the LED's. The wires are the challenging part. Its basically just whichever way you can get them into your car. Sometimes there are gromets in the floor board you can knock out other times you may have to run it through the firewall/door. The kit has USB connectors so its very simple.
