  • Good start, I personally built one some months ago. It's a good choice for very strong winds in residential areas.

  • Good observation. Yes it is slightly unbalanced. The blades are unsurfaced i.e. not smooth but rough which is a material mass distribution inaccuracy. Only noticable at 200 rpm and above. Vibration is caused but the blades are totally scilent due to the lack of blade tips. The air speed for this video is only 13 Kph average. Its pulling near 120 rpm. It is deisgned for performance in disturbed & limited air flows noticed in domestic settings with height restrictions.
