The tactic doesn't always work out, I can tell you that much. It does have a pretty good success rate though.

first start the jump and click spawn after it but the jump must be good - i mean it must not hit the edge you are jumping from - it stops your speed

Nice vid, i also always used this trick to run in ghostmode and then spawn during jump to take the speed with me for the flying bomb. A really interesting tactic which makes boomer much more interesting and less boring imo, the timing can be tricky, but practice is all :)
