not really, both are fighting and both use the same hp bar, so if youcarelessly left theclone somewhere, and then was just going around towns doing nufng you culd randomely just die because ytou know who ran into some guards

@1sinbad1 It's happened to me. He's a helpful clone so long as you don't get in the way of him seeing at you have no control over where he walks because he only does everything you do. and the leap of faith? Not sure.

this is a fun glitch and i found this without realising others knew (obvs did tho). if you keep going to the cut scene, while you are talking the other altair will kill the inactive gaurds and then help you to kill the robert guy. fun and weird.

Actually, it's a glitch on the way to the 9th assassination. If you have both controllers plugged in three guards won't attack you, then once you kill them, you fall through the ground, die, and respawn with a clone. Though when I tried to assassinate myself, it just froze. :[

i dont quite understand what you mean... if you mean that i can get rid of this bug by killing my clone you are mistaken - when i kill the clone it counts as killing myself, or suicide, meaning I restart at the last checkpoint, with the clone there again.

it has been found out that it was because I had a 2nd controller plugged in. in my case it was guitar hero II guitar plugged in. if you meet this criteria then on that path you will fall through the floor and respawn with a clone. then just assassinate him as you would any other person.

Last message: I went back to the savepoint at the Assassin's bureau where you get the final assignment to kill #9, and rode to Arsuf again, this time the bug was solved.

(Though I still think Jade Raymond's incompetence shines through badly throughout this game - it COULD have been great were it built with some consistency and imagination.)

dunno about the clicking, possibly the old piece of crap camera i'm using

and yes, it is on the 9th assassination when you travel to... a city you cant teleport to. it is AFTER the three archers, under a overhanging rock, if the glitch happens to you, it cant be avoided.

a fix is suggested incase it does though. repeat the memory block before it and it should be ok.
