3dGameMan is not a journalist, he is just showing the product features.

To prove that you can see that he never compares a product to the cmopetition in price and performance so he never really helps you make a decision.

3dGameMan video reviews are good for cases so you can see how a case looks like inside and out and if it has features like an air filter and removable mobo tray

Yes, if you have 2 GTX 295 in quad sli you van have up to 4, but with the clasified x 58 motherboard you van ad an other witch is dedicated to phisict and you can have 5!! GPU's on one motherboard:)

what I'm concerned about is the fact that even some crappy items received a great rating. This shows that your rating scheme is too nice toward products

who would want to get on the bad side of a company that's sending you virtually free products? If you give them a horrible award they won't want to send you anything else to review.

He usually does reviews for some of the biggest names, like Cooler Master, Antec, NZXT, etc.

Not really companies that would have horrible products in the first place.

the reality is if a reviewer is giving every products a good review simply because they get it for free, they shouldn't do it. On the other hand, I agree that my grammar was broken in my reply but this does not help your case in any way (except that you are the type of person that bring up irrelevant points to try to win an argument). If you perceive reality as every single reviewer give good reviews for everything they get, you obviously have never left your house in your life.

I never said a reviewer SHOULD give good ratings on everything, I said most of them DO. Rodney states that he always gives good reviews because he only requests items that he wants (and no one wants crappy products). I believe that to an extent, but sometimes something that looks good turns out under your expectations. But honestly, very rarely does anyone review something outside of the internet or press, so your last statement is completely irrelevent and contradicts your earlier statement.

Great = Fail

KICKASS = Average

100% KICKASS = Awesome

I don't really take his final grading into consideration. All the products pros and cons are thoroughly pointed out in the review, so the rating is up to you to decide based on your budget.

I fully agree with not requesting products that you believe are of poor quality however when reviewing - you should make more references to other products of equivalent spec and price.

Your reviews are likely to look as if they are adverts if watched by people who are not familiar with your presentation style.

You should have a sorted list for each kind of product. You should be able to sort these lists after performance or performance/dollar. Inserting a new product to a list will not be difficult since the list is sorted.
