I play troll bloods. my favorite model would be the dire troll mauler extreme sculpt. the one I had the hardest time painting was the 3 troll blood Long Riders.

I love painting my troll bloods, I recently got my hands on Epic Madrak Ironhide, he's my next project. The only thing about my work is I tend to "stick to script", I don't make the models look any different then what privateer publishes for pictures. The color schemes are always the same. The only difference would be the Tartans. I know that sounds boring and plain crazy talk. But I do my best at painting each one to look exactly like the ones in the books. I just find it eye pleasing.

well if you want variety you could always go with eldar or Space marines. with eldar you have plenty of choices of specialized troop choices but slightly harder to play than SM. Then you could go with SM who have lots of machines to play with. tons of armour and good hardy troops.
