When I started this video I had One Sweet World on in the background so the vocals sounded extremely screwy, then I realized I had two songs on at once XD
I just saw them this June and they were incredibly amazing. Yes smiling, dancing around and having a great time. They also sounded wonderful. They did go through some rough times, but there back and will blow you away all over again.
dmb used to smile so much more... it seems like they just don't have the same joy they used to. i really miss leroi moore... must be so hard for them. thank you, dmb, for all your music...
have you been since leroi passed away? don't be some snotty goon... i'm just saying that it seems like they don't take as much exuberant joy in some gigs that they used to-- mostly, the televised/network gigs.
their live stuff they still do their thing, but it feels different since leroi passed away. i'm just saying... jeez
I don't feel like I'm being snotty at all, I'm just saying that there has been a big change in their friendships between one another in the past two years. Roi was the one who saw that the members were growing apart in the past few years and he was the one who for the most part got everyone back together, and now the other four see that. Their celebrating his life by enjoying their time together. As far as televised shows go, it seems they have always been uncomfortable in front of cameras.
Top 3 bands of the 90s, for sure, radiohead possibly edging them out. If you look at only 90s material, DMB wins hands down for me. Of all time? Probably top 500 bands, which says a lot even if it doesnt sound like it
One of my favorite songs by DMB. I guess that doesn't say much since almost all of their songs are one of my favorites. So in honesty, they are one of the greatest bands of all-time. I'm so happy they released a new album, rather than breaking up, which was rumored.
Greatest song in the universe played by the greateset band in the universe. Nearly brought tears to my eyes when LeRoi started played at the end there

what happenned to the black guy that played the flute? i saw them on tv a few weeks ago and he wasn't there. probably went solo to make more money. I heard he was Dave's meth hookup, so maybe they had a falling out over some bad drugs. anyway, does he have a website? i think his name was larry or something like that.
This song is awesome live, I saw them play it last year in Charleston and they were absolutely great. Can't wait to see them at Hershey park, PA with Jason Mraz opening up for them.
#41 is probably DMB's best song, imho. The only way to really appreciate DMB is to see them live, tho. Check out LeRoi in this vid. LeRoi really made this song what it is.
thats totally true about #41 and seeing them live. hopefully summer 09 will be able to settle without Leroi. btw carter was looking pretty good also especially at the end
ya i dont really think any band member of almost any band really hates any of their songs why would the play them. and look at leroi it doesnt look like he hates playin anything
Yeah obviously they needed to shorten it so it fit on the show but it's still awesome they played it. It's more representative of them anyway than the hits.
I heard some rumor that Letterman really likes the band and actually requested that they play this song because it's one of his favorites.
I love they actually played this song with so much potential exposure... I LOVE that this song was not picked up by radio! It would've ruined it for me... it's my most private song, and I am able to keep it to "myself" because my peers do not like DMB enough to listen to an entire CD So it's atreat to hear!
Not a bad performace...Dave can sing. Not only can he hit the note, but he has personality and verve in his shows...that's what most people lack...Awesome. Not their best song though....???
He could have played at his wedding before he joined DMB. They did have a life before the band you know. They didn't just pick up the instrument and go at it. It took years of hard work to get that good, which probably happenend before they joined.

I doubt tinsley played at your father's second wedding, hes too good to be playing at some stupid wedding of a father who has problems with relationships. Too many stupid americans these days are divorcing and making it look bad for their children
OMG! I remember watching this. I was a freshman at university and I rushed to my room to watch it. About ten years ago, I think. They're all so young. How the time passes and it's great to see how much they've grown...so passionate. The hairs on the back of my head are standing up.
proof that DMB is the SHIT. for a lack of a better "one word summerization" lol
