@ilanarox247 Take the mages' side? You'll either become a symbol of mage oppression or mage freedom with no middle ground. Max out Fenris's friendship/rivalry and complete his second Questioning Beliefs (Fenris 2nd Romance vid) and you won't be forced to kill him on the mages' side. On templars' side, you do get the option to spare some mages and Bethany if she's in the Circle, which could show that you're merciful, but the mages will still consider you a villain in the epilogue.
i played a mage before...i wanted to help the circle but i didnt help the Templars . either you can leave him at home, or help the circle other then that if you help the mages like Anders want then youll just get rivalry.
You know, I remembered when Fenris said, "It was fine." I said, "Well I'm sorry that I don't have much experience in licking lampposts in winter..." just when my mom walked in during this scene. She now refers to him as my "lamppost boy". -_-
@WittySlacker Don't take the Don't go/Is that it? flirty option after Bitter Pill. Without you to stop him, he walks away. Exit the house. Go somewhere else. Re-enter the house. Cutscene plays.
@GhostlyMaiden Thank you!! seriously i was trying to figure out how to get Fenris to do this so many times, im glad i saw your comment because i finally was able to see it, i like this one better then the one where you say dont go =D
@Killenwolf Thank you. She was meant to be a cross between Emilie, a subset of the Jolie archetype, and Xeres, a subset of the Ren archetype. Most of the Emilie archetype ended up in her personality while Xeres dominated the superficial qualities, though that was mainly influenced by how the DW rogue has a very similar fighting style to his. Also, both archetypes are supposed to have green eyes, but they look like they glowed so I muted it down to a dark shade of grey.
@xDONTPANICx Have you completed his Questioning Beliefs (50 rivalry/friendship needed)? Otherwise, fully consummating a relationship with another character (e.g. Having Anders move in) should be the only other thing that would prevent the scene from activating.
@GhostlyMaiden FFFF-- No. When does THAT happen? I mean, its too late now (lol, I accidentally romanced Merill and roll'd with it), but for next time...? (I HOPE I'M NOT BOTHERING YOU, MMPH)
@xDONTPANICx You'll need to have completed Speak to Fenris first. Then you have to have atleast 50 friendship or rivalry to unlock Questioning Beliefs. Go to his mansion to speak with him and take the last two flirt options to initiate the romance.
@KitsuneNekoTigi This scene isn't just a rivalry scene. I had a friendship romance with him and I was able to get it too. I've never had a rivalry with him. I can't bring myself to do it. XD
okay this is very important to me, so please respond quickly :D When he leaves now (and he does in my game after this scene) is it the end of our romance?
@iluviel As long as you didn't pick a heartbreak option you're in the clear. Dragon Age Wiki says the "So you're ending it" option may be bugged to break the romance so if you want to make absolute sure, reload and take the "I care about you" option to be safe. Him leaving you after the deed is done is unavoidable and a necessary part of the romance. Just focus on having max friendship/rivalry for Act 3 so that you can unlock the next romance scene after his next companion quest.
@GhostlyMaiden okay thank you!!! :) Is it very difficult to have max rivalry with him? I take him everywhere with me and boy, does he hate my decisions, but I'm still only like 3/4 of the way to max rivalry in act 2...
@iluviel Not if you're actually trying. I tried to roleplay, so I'd rack up friendship points during his companion quests and Merril's quests since I discouraged her from fixing that mirror and that screwed me out of completing the romance (and getting a crap ending). I'm correcting that in another playthrough now, but I'm keeping my first file incase we get some Feastday type dlc or something ^_^.

@Gnarskiful I agree. The scenes in this one was not even close to DAO... but I would have been curious to see how they designed his lyrium... But I do love the romance between the two.
I got this one by accident...i think i like the glowy one better...probably b/c he glows, but this dialouge is supierior...i love how hes just chilling on your bench
@TinaheartsHBK yeah, that he'd wait for you to apologize. I agree tho I think the other scene is much more dramatic, but I wish he was more dominate in the scene than Hawke. I understand that would be hard for him to be after being a slave but I think it would have been a more appropriate for him coming in like this. Darn it Bioware
@HarlequinnJester Don't take the "Is that it?" flirty option during that scene. He'll just walk away. Exit and re-enter your house and this scene plays.

Hot damn. I swear the Fenris Rivalry romance is the most awesome romance plotline after Zevran! Talk about Mills & Boons personified. XD
flodobaggins 11 months ago 3
I'm new to DA2. I'm going to be honest; I thought that rivalry made it impossible for you to romance with a character.
GREAT! Now I can pick on everyone and still get laid later!
I hope to god it isn't a guy.

So to get the "coming after you" option. You leave the house after he walks away and then re-enter the house, correct?

@13foxxy Yep. Don't take the arm grab flirt. Let him walk away. Exit the house and go anywhere else. Go back to the house and he'll be right there.
