We lost Torie Zito recently, one of the last arrangers for Sinatra. I wonder how many remember that Helen Merrill once recorded an album with the indisputable genius of the trumpet, Clifford Brown.

@caponsacchi Oh! of course I remenber she had sung with C.Brown such as "you'd be so nice to, , ," " 's wonderful" and this one. I have a cd including these songs recorded '54. Regarding this song I absolutely like one with Brown.

Torrie Zito played the piano for Tony bennett and I knew him in that era! He is still great and so is his wife!

Helen Merrill is a lot better than "good." She's superb. FYI: she's Jon Greenwood's (Radiohead) favorite singer.
