The funniest thing is I called ANZ today to ask them for a better deal on my loan after finding out the jacked up the rate 0.14% higher than the RBA. SHAME ON THEM. They said that were was nothing they could or would do because they said it quote "would hurt their back pocket"… what about MY back pocket! They were also unable to justify their 53% profit last period. Worst customer service, worst attitude... bunch of dicks

yup when he releases the truck is a major goof. another shitty bank ad I didn't find funny or entertaining, and unlike a lot of suckers watching, I got paid to watch this, no lie. the joys of survey companies!!! : )

Rather then spent on stupid ads (unless you need stupid customers) why not invest in specialists education, like make all bank tellers know current bank fees and interests? I am SB and went to ANZ for a quote few time over the years - what a waist of time.

I got the impression the bank finally stopped avoiding the need for more staff and decided to put some of their huge profits to good use. As opposed to having the staff when they were first needed. Thats just the way it came across to me because of how much emphasis was put on running away from things for most of the advert.

Australian banks charge exorbitant fees compared to those in many countries. They need to be more government regulated.
