@GoneInRisk id say shoes i mean you can do it in socks but itll be that much more difficult to get the movements down so mine as well practice in shoes and just get the hard part over with and try to find a smooth floor and once you get it down you can pretty much do it any where its just all about transitioning your weight

you slide your other foot thats not pushing off just gently enough tho so its barley touching the ground you dont wanna drag it like i said you want your foot to be weightless
