  • lane splitting is not the problem , doing it a 30 mph + speed difference as everyone else is ...

  • Laying it down the way this guy did just proves his noobness. You're either in control or you ai'nt. If you are and the red lights are coming up fast, then you grab some lever and squeeze. Squeeze it! Show it no mercy!

  • You can actually see how fast the motorcyclist was lanesplitting at about 6 seconds in the trucks mirror. If you look close you can see a bright light go by which is the motorcycle. I lane split all the time but not nearly as fast as this guy. Paying attention is key when splitting lanes and being able to brake if needed. This guy was just going too fast.

  • its dangerous to split lanes like he was doing, but only because of stupid drivers that dont look in their mirror or check their blind spot

  • fuck these motha fucking bikers... they niggers dont slow down for shyttttt... pay the price motha fuckersss......

  • motorcyclist fault 100%, car was showing turn signal, doing slow merge, another car was partially blocking the view, should’ve slow down, should’ve watching

  • well to be fair if the law states a motorcycle can lane split then everyone should know it and be aware that a motorcycle could come out of no where at any time. if the guy changing lanes had just used his mirrors or looked where he going the motorcyclist wouldn't have crashed

  • @forcedexile1 agreed

  • Thats why Stupid ass bikers shouldnt ride between lanes. Anything can happen at any time. Someone could open their door, stick out their arm. Damn Bikers Get educated!! Ride Safe and Smart, and you live longer.

  • @Raptor306090 if you ride 15 mph difference between the cars this is highly unlikely to happen ..

  • I thought the mirror was a gta map when I looked at the thumbnail

  • Who the fuck calls people in cars "cagers"?!

  • @KingRizlaa pretty much all bikers I know call car drivers cagers. Just slang I spose

And pretty sure bike locks up before it crashes, not sure it even makes contact with the car in front, but bikes are really easy to lock up!

  • That's why lane-splitting is illegal in 49 states.

  • The biker was lane splitting - not int he left lane. As such he has a greater responsibility. H ealso needs to be more aware that cars may not see him when they go to change lanes.

I thintk he bike was going too fast to lane split safely here.

  • Its a Prius hahahahahahahaha

  • Biker going too fast + not paying attention to traffic + doesn't know how to apply the front brakes = squid gets hurt.

  • If I was riding that stupidly and rear ended a car i'd be really f'n embarressed.

  • i bet that stupid driver was asian or hindu anyways the problem its not the biker its that the drivers THINK having the blinkers "on" will make the rest of the cars stop when they want to change lanes not when its safe , i would say 95% of those accidents r drivers fault cuz they keep changing lanes without knowing thats a FAST lane they should merge on the carpool as fast as the traffic goes. its on the dmv drivers guide...!!!

  • exactly! slow down! lol you aint gonna get hurt goin 35 lol

    goodness

the fact is simple. need to go where your going. well first things first! MAKE IT THERE!!

  • The biker is too fuckin' stupid to own a license if he's going to drive that fast in heavy traffic. I don't really blame the car driver for that crash, I didn't see them suddenly shoot across, they seemed to be taking as much care as they could.

  • There's one way to cause more traffic

  • Biker seemed to be going too fast. BUT driver was 99.99999999% to blame hehe.

I'd never ride on an american highway/interstate. Any lane you can travel in.. inheritanly dangerous, and thats before you add bad driving.

  • @bluenapalm123 Lolwut? And yours aren't?

  • @TestECull Well, you are allowed to stay in any lane you want in the States yeah?

  • @bluenapalm123 Not normally, we have slower traffic keep right laws as well. Of course when everyone's moving at just 5MPH they cease to apply, but normally the slower traffic is supposed to keep right except to pass.

  • @TestECull Can you trucks travel in the far left lane at same speed as everyone else? 55mph 70mph?

  • Comment removed

  • @bluenapalm123 If they can maintain a sufficient speed and there's no signs saying otherwise, then yes. Matter of fact, I've seen some independent trucks(Company trucks are usually capped near the speed limit) that are able to hang with the 80-90MPH cars running in those lanes. In most cities there's laws stating they can only use the right two lanes, obviously only applying to roads with more than that.

It's also not unusual to see those same independents getting speeding tickets, hah.

  • haha what a dumbass

  • ouch, it sucks.

  • Splitting lanes waaaaaay too fast. Chump.

  • Is that the new excuse for getting a 2-wheeler? Big dicks? haha The idoit in the wreck must have a big dick, because he was driving like a fool. The bikers I know from work, are all fucked up from wrecks..Bad backs, limping on bad legs , necks hurt. But I guess their dick is just fine. You should know that negroes like to say they have big dicks, too. I sure as hell don't want to copy them.Numbnuts.

  • @satinISsexy no not at all cos i know for a fact that i dont have a small one and riding a motorcycle is wicked for meeting chicks as all girls want to go for a hard ride with you without even talking to you you pull over and straight away its "hey nice bike i love bikes" then all you gotta say is really well how bout you give me your number and i will txt you and come and pick you up and take you for a ride

  • @satinISsexy fail mate being a fag like you with your homo comments makes your penis small

  • LOL

  • @satinISsexy "Driving" a hybrid makes your penis turn into a vagina...

  • I've had a motorcycle, so I guess I can comment.

When I see stupid behaviour by a motorcyclist, I actually pray they go down.

Stop weaving at high relative speeds - MORONS!

  • LOL serves him right for speeding for the traffic conditions. He has shit for brains

  • While it is mostly the cager's fault for cutting off the rider, the rider was going way too fast given the traffic conditions. Always anticipate people pulling out when there's a free lane ahead of you and people are stuck bumper to bumper in the other lanes.

  • I wonder what those red lights mean?

  • He crashed before he hit the car. Panic front brake grab. Tucked the front and lowsided.

  • That's what happens when you split lanes DUMB-ASS!!!! Got what your deserved. I have been riding over 50 years and I got more sense than to do that. Also rode professional for over 20 years, and still have more sense than to do that...

  • Dumb ass biker + dumb ass cager = dumb ass, totally preventable accident. Biker, slow the hell down. Cager, learn to use your mirrors. The end.

  • That sums it all up! LOL

  • @dazzeyduks + dumb cunts commenting on youtube. why should anyone have to study their mirrors for 5 minutes before changing lanes incase some dopey fuck on a bike is lane splitting at 100mph?

  • @dazzeyduks Considering the cager moved several lanes he probably used his mirrors and looks back over his shoulder, he judged that the car in the left lane was far enough back and going slow enough to pull in front it. He had no reason to be looking for a bike going twice the speed of all other traffic.

I ride a Honda 1000 as well but I put 99% of blame on the rider for this one. The law states he is allowed to ride between lanes but he has to do it safely. The law puts all blame on the rider.

  • Also this is why lane splitting ought to be illegal. Idiot bikers think they can blow between slowed or stalled cars in heavy traffic at double the their speed when regular drivers aren't expecting them to. The biker was stupid for not assuming other drivers aren't expecting him to ride like a fucking moron between the lanes like that. He got what he deserved for that.

  • motorcyclist was driving at almost double the speed as the other traffic. The driver of the car is not at fault here. The biker is for speeding past traffic like that.

  • The bike was going to fast for the traffic conditions. This is why so many bikers die on the roads.

  • STUPID!. you know it's jammed, why speeding?

  • @T0H0E0G0A0M0E I like the dickheads that pull out in front of you thinking, oh i have enough time (but really they don't and should just be patient and wait). if the situations right, instead of slowing down i just pass them and rev my engine really high to scare the shit out of em.

  • Why aren't automatic training wheels marketed for motorbikes? This makes lane splitting unnecessary, since they don't have put their feet on the asphalt every time they halt.

  • @Nomasain training wheels on a bike robs the bike the ability to lean and essentially to make turns over 15 miles an hour.

  • @Likeafoxow True, but what if the are foldable, like on the Peraves Monotracer?

  • @Nomasain the peraves monotracer has wheels on the side of the bike, and they come down when at a stop. they dont however spring out, when a biker loses control of his bike.

theres really no good way to mitigate a bike accident. you can always put frame sliders; thats the closest a bike will ever have to having training wheels. and of course wear a helmet and gear.

  • dont haul through the maze man that is a really bad area! ive be cut off so many times. . . thats why u gotta always make sure u can stop if u need to. Ride safe bro!

  • well at least the car stopped

  • i've been riding for 16 years and i can tell you one thing, you ride that fast through slow moving traffic..... you gonna get fucked up! ride smart for fucks sake.

  • Combination of factors here. LANE SPLITTING: Yes, It's Legal in Cali but you can also Marry a Donkey in Cali, That doesn't mean it's safe or ok. There's a reason the other States don't Permit it. SPEED Anytime you are moving at a higher rate of speed than the flow of traffic your risk of an accident increases regardless of the posted speed limt. MORON DRIVERS The car was legally at fault. Morons are every where. Slow down, Becareful!

  • thumb up when you were looking at the motorcycle in the right ...

  • but the guy on the BIKE went between the black truck and that other car mid lane mother fucker WAIT FOR YOUR TURN dont try to pass between cars and ull breath.

  • @mtlchronix Its actually legal in California to Lane Split. He just crashed cause a car changed lanes without looking over his shoulder, and the biker was going to fast.

  • mother fucker in the car did a 3 lane change like he was the king of the street........

  • the commentator forgets to say that the racedriver swerves between cars way too fast en therefor has no time to stop safely

  • @101johngalt i own a gixxer 750, moron.

  • I am all about lane splitting but the speed does need to be watched and you do need to look for open spaces because you know a car is going to move there.

  • I didnt see anything

  • @pingpongyul More like Malaysia tak boleh!

  • ummm.. the crash was the motorcycles fault. he was going at least 20 mph faster than what everyone else was going and it was bumper to bumper traffic so its totally his fault.

  • But props to the car driver for getting out so quickly, we all make mistakes

  • The biker needs to slow it down while splitting lanes but the car was at fault for digital lane change and unsafe departing of a lane without the use of caution.

  • Hope he learnt a lesson there. Filtering too fast will catch you out eventually. You can't rely on car drivers to check mirrors before changining lanes.

  • i wasnt aware that idiotic drivers like that existed on non-malaysian roads. it's 100% legal to lane split here and 120% likely to get urself killed in the process. here, almost every driver drives like that idiot. it didnt help that the biker was going insanely fast as well.

for us bikers, in the end, it's not about right or wrong. it's about making sure that we dont get hurt.

  • @alexkit14 malaysia boleh!

  • Aaaaaand that's why we don't lane split.

  • i just wasted 23 seconds

  • heres another idiot motorcyclist that thinks awww im big and bad, well i bet when he hit the ground he wasnt so cocky anymore, a clear example you have no protection, even though your bike is small dont do that, because your brains are gonna be on the ground like his were, i have not one bit of sympathy for this idiot

  • @clarkcrystal89 But it's perfectly ok for the asshole to cut across all lanes and cut him off right? Someone cuts you off and I bet your yelling and screaming like the little bitch you really are.

  • @clarkcrystal89 well the idiot here is you, most people in a vehicle, and if your not on your cell, you never pay attention for nothing especially if its not right in front of you! the majority of bikers enjoy living and are way more observant to there surroundings and way more alert. I know that there are idiots on bikes and in cars. just becuase he is on a bike don't mean he's a idiot, you will go to hell for judging people! you need to peg for forgiveness.

  • i dont fucking see a crash

  • @CraziShots Put down the bowl your smoking, use some Visine to help clear your eyes, and watch the left of the video.

  • @outlawracer2229 Hey man I'm high as fuck and I saw it first time.

What's with the prejudice against potheads...we're awesome.

  • @69salford69 Was I even talking to you? How was my comment negative? Little paranoid are ya?

  • @outlawracer2229 Yes but I was more paranoid before I smoked

  • fucking Prius drivers.

  • Never heard of adjusting your speed???

Accident waiting to happen caught on tape when it happend!!

  • I had to watch this 5 times to find the accident. I kept watching the biker lane splitting on the right, haha

  • boy i have to say! I was driving in california this summer and you gotta be very careful shoulder checking when changing lanes. cuz those motorcycle drive in between lanes.........

  • @anttrap321 they need hit, there dumb asses over in cal,

  • I'm amazed the driver even got out to check! More often than not they just drive off rather than own up to their own mistakes. To my knowledge California allows lane splitting at posted speed limits, which appears to be what was happening here. Not saying the biker isn't stupid for doing it, but in the eyes of the law it looks like he was justified in doing so.

  • I guess this is a reason why a bike with ABS brakes would be more ideal!

  • @treved15 i am in his position everyday... i ride my gsxr often, as its my only way to commute. no car.

i always treat every car as if a drunk driver was behind it. again ... the rider was going way too fast in such

conditions. and the car driver is a complete idiot of course.

  • im really glad i just watched this video, i love splitting lanes and now i see the real danger of it. not gonna be doin that as much any more. and YZBot up there in the top comments, pretty much well said. not the time to kick it up a notch.

  • Think he nailed his rear brake a little too hard, but the wanker in the car moved in to what appeared to be a faster moving lane of traffic at a slower speed.

Then again on a bike, best piece of advice I was ever given,is treat EVERYBODY like a fucking moron, keep it in your head NOBODY knows how ot drive correctly, and you'll keep a much sharper eye out for the unexpected.

  • ANALYZE REVIEW BLAH FUCKING BLAH YOU FUCKING EXPERTS I WOULD HAVE DONE THIS THAT AND FUCK OFF

  • @thesiknik7 Thank you for summarizing every comment ever made on YouTube haha.

  • You know what guys regardless if the biker was going too fast the driver of that car will be held liable because California DMV handbook states that your indicator lights should be on for approx 15 seconds before changing a lane. Clearly the driver was cutting across traffic.

  • @oney135 Yea, he was going just as fast as the other guy

  • did you see the other bike on the right going between cars i bet he was trying to do that

  • I DONT feel bad for this guy because he shouldn't even be on a motorcycle on the interstate ...

  • What?

  • @LoveTheCity123 There's no law against riding a motorcycle on the interstate.

  • @Shenanighandi Did I say anything about it being a law ? No. All I said was how I don't believe motorcyclist should even be on the interstate. Actually they shouldn't even be on the road.

  • @LoveTheCity123 I don't see why not. You have to really pay attention and ride defensively when you're on a motorcycle, which is what most do. Unfortunately some don't and become a statistic, it's their choice to do stupid things. The same can be said about idiots not paying attention or on the phone while driving a car. People tend to be careless when in a car because they're surrounded by a cage. And many if not most motorcycle accidents are caused by these careless drivers.

  • @LoveTheCity123

get balls and buy a motorcycle, try it and then we will listen. have u ever moved ur ass outside car?? lame lame

  • @LoveTheCity123 Live life as a puss...no fun.

  • @The870Express That has nothing to do with the price of tea in China. I don't want to live the rest of my life brain dead, or have ever lasting scars. It has nothing to do with being a " puss " ... You are illiterate for thinking that.

  • Comment removed

  • @LoveTheCity123 Saying something is too dangerous for you to partake in does indeed mean you are fearful of the action. I fail to see how a correct interpretation pertains to illiteracy. Your fear is irrelevant to the safety of motorcycles. @The870Express is completely correct about your perspective on travel.

Please educate yourself on matters before jumping into the fray misdirected while attempting to wield words you don't fully understand.

  • @The870Express Live life as a parapalegic.......REALLY NOT FUN.

  • @LoveTheCity123 You dont have a fuckign Volvo you faggot. You own a fucking bicycle that your drunk homophoic nigger father stole for you faggot.

  • @drawe11 I have riden bikes, and I gotta say that there are a lot of moron bike riders out there. It's a form of transportation, not a stunt vehicle. Not sure what happened in this case, but if he was fooling around he deserved it.

  • @viperzeroone Your an idot. Bikes are made for doing whatever you want with em. It's lil pricks like you that ruin the fun for us guys who do ride and like to have fun while doing it. That guy didn't deserve it, nobody does.

  • @137bandit Yeah, what an idot!

  • @137bandit Oh, I beg to differ Bandit. This guy was clearly going way too fast for the traffic, which is unsafe for not only him but the other motorists. The only one in this video who didn't deserve anything was the guy he rear-ended. You wanna have fun, go find an empty road where you're putting no one else at risk.

  • @drawe11 get balls and go to an Emergency room like the one I work at each and every night, look at the horrific motorcycle accident victims we see almost every single night, and most of them aren't even at the fault of 'other' drivers, try that and then I will listen.

  • @LoveTheCity123 why shouldn't he be on the interstate?

  • Could have been saved with ABS

  • Thumbs up to "benlamoure". Good observation, and very true.

  • it had to be a damn prius too.

  • Typical thick biker, think they own the road.

Serves him right for going so fast!

  • Biker should have known better than to ride that fast while splitting lanes. Traffic was moving so he should have just rode with it.. The driver of that car is an idiot still, changing 3 card lanes in one movement.. FAIL!

  • He should have signaled nooooo fucking signal..

BUT...at least he stopped and got out of the car.

  • Bikers fault....

  • thats what happens everyday

  • watch the car in question right from the very beginning of the video... not a single safe lane change. he just merges himself all the way from the #5 lane to the #1 lane practically in a straight line, at an angle where he can't check his rear-view. he may be checking his normal blind spot but now he has a much bigger blind spot without the use of his rear view.

I'm surprised the driver of the car didn't cause an accident before that. Fault? 70 car / 30 bike.

  • If the biker hadn't Locked his front wheel and taken a dive, he coulda just casually swerved around and avoided the car...

  • Riders fault 100%, No way the driver would could have seen him when he was travelling at that speed ! I'm no fan of drivers who don't look for bikers but if you're gonna ride like that in heavy traffic you know tht sooner or later you'll be on your arse.

  • @ratty383 Exactly. It wouldn't have mattered if the driver had signaled for 30 seconds and then said "mother, may I." He would not have seen this biker coming up way too fast. Biker at fault, 100% percent.

  • Poor riding, might think he's cool all the times he's done it without incident but it was only a matter of time

  • an idiot scratched his ass, big deal

  • Thats what the biker get for riding stupid spliting lane is the dumest thing you can do

  • looked like he panicked & grabbed a whole lotta front brake

  • FUCK THE DRIVER!!!!!!!

  • Thats what he gets! hate stupid Bikers!

  • I'm a biker and I have to say that the biker was not driving with care. He should have predicted that his speed compared to the cars around him would lead to this kind of accident. A good and safe rider would not do more that 5 or 10

MPH than the surrounding traffic. Then again, the asshole in the subcompact was not changing lanes in a safe or legal manner either. Tough call.

  • twice look for motorcycles drivers! plz!!!

  • the rider wasn't even changing lanes? the car was.. and he was probably going a bit to fast, but its still not the bikers fault...

  • Classic occasional MC rider responding to an open lane with throttle vs paying attention to the traffic. Sorry been riding for a very long time 200+ miles a week in the Bay Area to and from work every day he was simply asking for trouble.

I was passed by a guy I'd seen twice over a 6 month period morning commute riding like a dumb ass. 100ft up the road he rear ended a SUV and ended up in the back seat of the SUV. You can't fix stupid

  • bikers are fucking idiots !! You can tell in the video he was going way too fast. I think we should just run them all off the road, I do that everyday.

  • @draculascoffin

Are you the guy in the honda ridgline that tried to run me off the road on my dual sport? I hope you enjoy your kicked in door asshole!

  • both at fault... dumb car driver changed lanes and didnt look to see the biker...

bikers fault for speeding with such traffic, rider should know to expect cagers to change lanes suddently with such conditions..

  • He was in all leather and was sitting when he came back into cam view. I'm guessing he was ok

  • It may be legal, but there is something called Natural Justice, and the biker just got his sentence handed to him!

  • @skatecubed The car was the one who was totally in the wrong. I'm certainly not a fan of motorcyclists speeding through traffic and stuff, but you are really supposed to change lanes one lane at a time, and check your mirrors and blind spots for each turn, and signal each turn separately.

  • @872463051

Look the video again. No matter how careful you are, you dont necessarily notice the bike is doing like 60mph when everyone else is doing 40. You'd assume there was plenty of time to change lanes anyway.

In either case, I'd rather be alive than "right"

  • Well to be honest the rider was lane splitting too fast, cars will change lanes often without looking regardless if its illegal or not so slow down when lane splitting because them getting done with dangerous driving doesnt bring you back to life

  • @2wheelsteve i agree that bike should of not be going that fast in traffic like that, but fuck it he will definitely learnd his lesson.

  • @2wheelsteve

I know man I ride and that guy should have saw that car coming. You should only lane split 15 mph faster than traffic anyways, at least here in cali. That dude was definitely going faster. He was probably too busy thinking about how cool he looked, no offense but that how a lot of riders are. Me too sometimes haha. but then again how can you not, when you have a ducati monster.

  • and anyone who drives down the center line should be also

  • Regardles if he was lane-splitting or not (which is illegal where I live) the numb-nuts in the car was the prick who caused this accident. Anyone who cuts across 5-6 lanes of traffic should be kicked in the head.

  • iv been hit twice like that, lane spliting is a bitch. you dont feel how fast your going until you have to stop, by that time its too late.

  • that guy wasnt lane splitting

  • of course he wasn't cause he's actually blind and hes got a faulty sat-nav in braille.

  • ? what are you talking about kid

  • Hes not looking where he's going, mockery?

  • Yes, he was

  • @MisTaHTaKi what the fuck do you know about lane spliting bitch. you ride shotgun in your moms VOYAGER hanging out the passenger side you fucking SCRUB !!!!

  • @rob1upon1gsxr1000 after looking closely he was lane splitting, my bad shit head. that comment was 4 pages back, why comment on it. im sure youre reading all the comments because you want to have a glimpse of how it feels to own a bike. i hope you dont crash like this douchebag and die on a bike you cant handle (a scooter).

  • Avoidable first off if he hadn't been speeding through slightly congested traffic...meaning lots of holes for lane changes... and second he wouldn't have skidded and fallen if the biker had swerved first then braked....

  • Did you read the description? A car cut the RIDER off causing him to go down.

  • I know... but what I'm saying is that when there is something in your way (car, pothole, bum, etc..) you have to SWERVE with effective countersteering and THEN brake... or else you just lock up and slide into whatever you're trying to avoid...

  • i would like to see you avoid that

  • The safest place SHOULD be at the double yellow between an HOV lane, and regular traffic lanes. They have their designated spots to merge in/ out of lanes. There is a similar video on youtube of another rider getting creamed by someone jumping out of the HOV lane unexpectedly.

  • yeah, we dont have freeways with double yellows in Nor. Cal.

  • But I do agree. that would be very safe and wish we did.

  • The motorcyclist is filtering faster than the flow of traffic which isn't illegal but it has it's risk as we just saw. The car driver is a moron for not crossing so many lanes & not looking. I can't really see if he is signaling or not so i can't really comment on that.

  • hate does people who switch two of file job's.

  • Watch this video again but look to the RIGHT of the screen at the beginning of the video. You'll see another bone-headed rider blasting along between occupied lanes. Whether it's legal or not... the question is: do you think that kind of riding is a wise choice? That rider will also end up getting creamed someday if he keeps it up.

  • in my country they rule the highways and Av., the always go between the lanes

  • The rider tries to split between two occupied lanes of traffic. There's a black SUV already in the diamond lane, and a car in the adjacent lane. The rider tried to cut between the two vehicles, going at least 20 mph faster. Look, you want to act like an idiot in rush hour traffic, be my guest. You may get lucky the first 10 times you do it, but eventually you're going to come across a stupid driver and you're going to get hurt. You accepted the risk.
