  • how come the acid doesnt affect the glass?

  • @maziku Most acids will not attack glass. I think only hydrofluoric acid will attack glass.

  • i feel sorry for the guy who drove that car.

  • you wasted your DOLLAR man

  • HOT WHEELS, BEAT THAT BITCH.

  • fizzy bubble

  • @HP100ify It's called an "exothermic reaction". As the acid attacks the metal, heat is generated. As it gets hotter and hotter, the reaction increases even faster until it starts to boil.

  • Serves that ugly car right.

  • @thetick531 i think it couldve been sulfuric acid not nitric acid

  • Why would nitric acid be in a martini glass?

  • Sucks

  • now slather some on your junk

  • Make Someone Drink It.. That'll Be Interesting.. Lol

  • Look up carborane acids. They are considered "Super Acids" as they are many times stronger than even sulfuric acid, which has a lower pH that nitric acid.

  • Delish!

  • @Brycen2000 drop it in muritiac acid and have a "race" to see who wins first :P

  • @9c1holden actually nitric acid is worse than hydrochloric.

  • talk about a strong martini

  • Those yellow vapors look especially safe and delicious to inhale.

  • COOL!

  • I dare u drink that martini

  • dirty martini?

  • how come the plastic wheels didnt disolved , i thought it wouldnt remain anything from the car

  • kids dont do Acid. it can destroy a car ^^

  • now thats one way of removing those metal parts, great vid :)

  • @taofledermaus you should dissolve something in aqua regia xD, if you dont know what it is, its maximum concentrated hydrochloric and nitric acids combined

  • Hmm, apparently plastic doesnt react to acid, huh

  • I swam in a pool with muriuatic acid. Very gentle on the eye

  • Does glass not corrode?

  • What's the concentration?

  • could you try sulfuric acid on living tissue like a dead animal or plant (no cacti)

  • cool! i hope that wasn't a vintage collectible car, lol.

  • it looked like the paint protected the metal for a short time before the acid took over.

    Another super cool video, thanks!!

  • @MrColt45acp I tried to scratch away the paint in some spots but it still took a very long time for it to really start reacting. I think my acid was diluted a little bit. As it got hotter and hotter the reaction got better. While it was furiously smoking and boiling over a neighbor stopped his truck and I had to explain why I had a smoking martini glass in my driveway. lol. I should have included the conversation in the video in retrospect.

  • @taofledermaus Did you actually FILM this conversation? I CAN HAS HEAR IT?

  • YOU BASTARD!!!....How would you like it if I placed one of your children into a vat of Acid???

  • Pretty much like a Toyota truck frame vs. American weather.

  • Dude... wheres my car.

  • lol the lazy mans way to pull apart a toy car ;)

  • firework vs acid that would be awesome

  • got to try this "MARTINI" with muriatic acid and just a plain olive !!!!

  • bye bye car

  • very cool and good music too

  • Do like you outta, add acid to water.

  • Awesome, did you film it in HD and just speed it up like I do or did you have a very low framerate and did it the traditional way? :-)

  • @SlaveZero1234 I filmed it with my Panasonic camera and sped it up 64 times in Vegas. It took 3 renderings at 4x each pass.

  • @taofledermaus i live in vegas

  • Muriatic acid is some nasty stuff! Ever drip it on concrete? I swear it looks exactly like when Aliens acid blood hits the ground.

  • where did you get acid from?????

  • The martini from hell!

    No olive, party foul!

  • lol ,nice ,i see you used"liquid wrench" it fix that car

  • so what do you call this cocktail?

    hotcid?

  • you should of been wearing

    gloves

  • Which is stronger? Nitric or sulfuric acid?

  • @MichaelkSimmons muriatic acid by far that stuff will liquidfy the car in under 5 minutes ,the heat from the boiling acid even melted the plastic too

  • @daewooparts I was having doubts this acid was even going to dissolve it. I was too lazy to go buy some muriatic.

  • @taofledermaus na,this looks dope in the timelapse,i looks like muratic acid in real time, i plan on doing a kirby vacuum cleaner while still running in 5 gallons of muriatic acid , just waiting to find one of those all metal small"skate" vacuums

  • @MichaelkSimmons I think sulfuric, plus it depends on the concentration too. I've worked with high concentrated sulfuric before and it ate through my leather boots and I've seen it eat through stainless steel pipe before. Really nasty. The stuff I used in this video was pretty weak actually since it took so long to dissolve the car.

  • @MichaelkSimmons Nitric Acid has this fun ability to digest a lot of metals in rather spectacular fashion. Sulfuric Acid isn't as powerful at digesting metals because there are non-soluble sulfates (Such as Lead). Per mole, Sulfuric acid has more hydrogen to give up, but doesn't give up the second hydrogen as readily as the first. Muriatic Acid is Hydrochloric Acid, also pretty nasty stuff. In the end it all depends on what you're looking to digest that will determine the best acid to use.

  • could you do something with flesh eg: dead fish part or one of those mice you can buy from pet stores (the dead ones obviously) too see the effects on flesh ????

  • wow cool

  • cool soup ... is it delicious xD

  • reminds me of my trip to Gary, In, picking up powerball winnings, on my trip in, i saw a car stalled on the side of the road on a tollway, an hour later, going back, it was up on blocks and all 4 wheels were removed! it must have been nitric acid!

  • @mrbadx19 No, the liquid in the video was concentrated car thieves.

  • @mrbadx19 Lol, some people are pretty bold huh?

  • @mrbadx19 How much did you win?

  • @DrJohnBecker unfortuantely, not enough, the powerball drawing was for $135,000,000 before taxes, i had 4 regular numbers and the powerball, which is "$10,000", but you quickly learn the tenacity of state and federal governments, the check was for $7200, the feds took out 25% and indiana took out 3% off the top, due to my low income level, i got most of the federal taxes back, but none of IN state taxes back, seeing that i live in IL.

  • that it's coca cola

  • Now add some Vodka =)

  • That was pretty sweet. What you gonna melt next? :)

  • One of your cooler videos, do more!

  • I like the part when the wheels goes off. lol

  • i shoot my toy cars with pellet rifles, taofledermaus dissolves them lol

  • mmMMmmm.... acid store. good thing i didnt have some of that when i was a kid. my toy cars already took enough of a beating

  • thats interesting =D

  • I love acid... so awesome!!

  • Freeze an egg then drop it,that would look cool in slow motion

  • we need more proof that there is life on the sun...do it again but with a real car

  • Bad ass vidja! Pretty cool how the polymer was perfectly ok afterwards

  • @MegaGevehr Thanks bro! I was surprised to see a little seat and steering wheel, you can't even see it through the windshield of the car!

  • @taofledermaus the little driver, however, must have been dissolved. One feels sorry for him.

  • That's gonna leave a mark.

  • That stuff is no joke, wow it went to work right away. Bubbles right from the start

  • that looks similar to when i take a dump

  • Anyone up for a Hotweels martini?

  • put this in a super soaker and go attack people's vehicles that you hate

  • @mpoT3CHY if it doesnt burn the super soaker first XD

  • So what did this prove ?

  • @creamtt That life exists on the sun.

  • @taofledermaus I have always believed in this theory myself, so this is conclusive proof then.

  • @taofledermaus they're called the polymer people...

  • @taofledermaus lol..lol...and lol

    Excellent idea and filming!!!

  • nom nom nom nom

  • What if someone were to drink that?

  • @Justindee8 No more teef. lol

  • OMG!!! THE ACID STORE WON"T SHOW UP IN GOOGLE!!!! MY LEIF IS LIEK OVERRRRRR!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What kind of acid was that? Sulfuric? If so, everyone has an acid store. lol Nice video.

  • @AnythingSlowMotion It was nitric acid. Daowooparts suggested I used simple swimming pool acid (muriatic) but I only has a little bit of this stuff to use.

  • WHY DID YOUTUBE CHANGE THE COMMENTING STYLE!!!

  • that hurts

  • Umm where did you get the acid?

  • @ungd1 The acid store.

  • @taofledermaus OK.... derp

  • @ungd1 umad?

  • @ElFenixdePlata U must be nuts to ask me that.

    Have a Good Day.

I'm just kidding just a question.

  • @ungd1 orly?

  • @ElFenixdePlata I see what you did.

  • @ungd1 Herp a derp.

  • i would love 2 throw that cut at casey anthony :)...whats n it?

  • notice how i wasn't gay and said first.. tao FTW

  • @TheCaliforniaAirsoft I also noticed that making a consecutive comment pointing out just that is pretty lame.

  • @csmybuttt lol true

  • "YES"
