Thank you for your comment! I think the point of making kalimbas is to set strings on the body(board or box) tightly. and, to make the sound, there are many elements. for example, board thickness and distances between parts, and so on... I use a kind of high carbon steel (called "piano wire") for the strings. In 2012, I will make kalimba with my best!
