wow! It only took you one hour? I just finished repairing the hinge and clutch on my G4 and it took me a lot longer just to get to the hard drive.

help, I got an ibook here with the logic board bug thing... I saw a way to repair it but I'd hate to use the fire procedure, I'd rather use the paste instead, does anyone know how I don't have $300 to send for a new one!

If all you are trying to do is load 10.4 via a dvd there are far simpler ways, but yeah, it can be done....as you have just seen.
