being an a&m fan i can say none of those reasons mean anything, because apparently none of them did anything. and it doesn't matter that its the TEN year anniversary of the bonfire, its just a number, it matters that you always remember it and it is always important to memorialize it. im embarrassed that aggies actually said those.

i am an aggie fan and as all aggie fans were doing was hoping that they would win. they played a close game but still lost. I know that the aggie defence was horrible and so was the texas defence, the longhorns gave up 5 touch downs and a field goal, it should have been a blowout for texas. and my last thing i have to say is that texas won off of exrerience, ATM has 11 freshmen and the rest are mostly sophmore, while texas has mostly junior and senior including the top quarterback

well CowboyTD, it looks like we proved that we CAN possibly beat UT. i wasn't expecting them to win but i was expecting it to be real close like this. Jerrod Johnson will be the best QB in the Big 12, he was the 2nd best this year, and A&M has a really good chance of winning the Big 12 championship next year.

i NEVER said that. i didn't expect A&M to be great this year because they are young. but no joke. we've got our best QB in school history and the best in the Big 12 next year. do you now his stats? only 6 INTs, 3,200 pass yds. and 28 pass TDs with the bowl game still to go. he holds like all of the A&M passing records. and we have the nations top sacker coming back next year, both RBs, and pretty much all of our WRs. and our defense will be better next year because of more experience.

well, the game turned out exactly how i thought it would. and it looks like you were WAY wrong about A&M about your supposedly "great" defense. Jerrod Johnson put up 350 yds. and 4 TDs and you guys didn't exactly stop the run except some broken plays. i don't care if you talk about how our defense was worse because i don't claim that our defense is great. but i will say that we have the best defensive playER in the nation and he sort of proved that today with 2 sacks. 17 sacks this yr

ok, first i'm going to say, you didn't have a bad season if you made a bowl game. next i'm going to say, people say we lost because of our defense, but a lot of games came down to our fumbling on special teams and by our running backs. so it's not the defense's fault. and we are going to clean all of that up for next year. trust me. this is really like the running backs first year, even for SO Gray because he didn't play his first year. and Michael is a FR. they played, it won't happen next yr.

I'm an aggie but I'm also a realist. I don't believe that A&M will win this game. As you pointed out, our offensive line consist of many freshman with inexperience. You cannot beat probably the best team in the country with a poor oline. I will disagree with your assessment that our WRs are bad. I think our WRs are good enough to win games but it goes back to giving Johnson the time he needs to make the completion.

The biggest thing that scares me though, is that this Longhorn team isn't the same we've played the last four years, even the 2005 team. This defense doesn't rely on talent, Muschamp is making them PLAY instead of just ASSUME they will be better. Also, you didn't really give our receivers enough credit. This group is the biggest highlight and biggest surprise of our 2009 season.

CowboyTD, there are three things in this game that if the Aggies do, they can be there.

1. Oline: O-Line is doing much better than they were when the season started. However, they were pretty well shut down by OU's D-Line, mostly because of turnovers, and we were forced to pass all the time.

2. Which brings me to No. 2: Michael and Gray have to run 100+ each.

3. Von Miller: Von has to get to Colt and pressure him.

It seems by looking at the NCAA standings that if Texas wins out, they play Alabama or Florida in the final. No other top conference team is perfect.

If Texas loses the Big 12 (They will be big favs), then we start talking about the 1 loss teams and Boise State, Cincinatti etc.

However, the odds TEXAS wins out the rest of the year is very high.
