Have you played all the Disgaea games for the PS3 and this one as well? I never played any Disgaea game and I was wondering if I can play this one to without the previous installments.

There's only one Disgaea for PS3, the others are for PS2 (plus the PSP and DS-remakes of the first one). Though they don't really follow each other so you can play Disgaea 3 without the other two and not miss out much.
