It has an awsome right break. The pool has twelve tanks behind the back wall that they fill and force the water out with hydrolic pumps. The engineers can release the tanks in what ever order to make different waves. The waves you see in this video are as a result of them filling the tanks for 45 sec. when the pool made the 10+ wave they filled it for two minutes.

just surfed it last night. it was $1200 for 3 hours. This vid is from Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando. The wave is not steep, but its not slow. The water isn't salt, so it makes you less bouyant which slows you down a bit. Overall, its was a good time.

Man made waves.

You can get a left, right, or center breaking wave. You just tell the controller what you want.

They only allow surfing after park hours. WDW can't afford the liability of someone's board injuring a tourist.

You don't go "by the hour". You buy a block of 100 waves. When we went it was $1200 for the block. The cost per wave is dependent on how many people you bring with you.
