  • Lovely performance and very cute choreography! It doesn't matter if they're Indian or not, they really did well and appreciated an old and beautiful Hindi film classic. Indian culture& performing arts is not just popular in India, it only makes sense that it would reach the neighboring country of China (who also have fantastic culture and arts).

  • wondrefull! Chinese done it very nicely.

  • In the film Parasmani, this dance was led by Helen, who had made her big breakthrough some years earlier impersonating a Chinese woman in the hit dance from Howrah Bridge, "Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu." (And Helen, by the way, is not ethnically Indian; if I'm not mistaken, she's half Burmese and half Anglo-Indian/English.) So, anyway, this turn seems perfectly fair to me... And nicely done too.

  • they look like school children doing exercises, but other than that a very good effort

Your parents/ friends must be very proud of your filthy language you use on public forums. It simply shows your very nice upbringing. Keep it up and definitely it will take you to very high places.

However if you were my relative/friend I would be ashamed of myself and feel very sorry for you.

By the way it was much below my standard to lower myself to your standards to respond.

    sa

  • my parents will be very proud I cursed out an fing communist...stop ruining my culture by copying...u fing chinese copy everything...fing copycaters....get the fuck out of tibet

  • 1231nikita:

From your language you look like low level pimp, (Kanjar)., from slums of Bombay (Mumbai). Are you on H1 visa in the USA? Your language is of pure Harami, obviously your parents who are proud of your dirty language are probably illiterate villagers. You are not born and brought up in the US, you are extremely filthy person you belong to slums of India.

Great Indian culture did not teach this kind of behavior. Shame on you.

  • i dont like how there trying to be like indian people i mean be ur self!

  • hahahha tro fort!!!!!

  • but I am quite firm that they are Chinese

Coz they have a Chinese name and I know them..

    I am a Chinese too ;-)

  • You know, after watching this video sevevral times, I was convinced they were Indian and by the way "feastfortheeyes" it is not obvious they are not indian because there are many Indians with those features in the North as I and others have mentioned. But after watching this many times, Im very confused now only because I am trained both in chinese and indian dance and some of their moves are very chinese but mostly indian. We wont know!

  • But if any of u have been to China which I have, they share similar cultures to india because of buddhism. Bollywood and Bharatanatyam dance is popular in China too.

  • Theyre also many chinese who perform their next door neighbours cultural dance as many ASIAN (including india and china) dancing has similar movements and techniques. They could be Indian or Chinese, but who cares...they are Asian and from the same continent that India and China share. Yes true they could be right between like Nepalese too, and obviously a chinese channel was broadcasting this.

  • Guys, first of all it doesnt matter where theyre from...they fuckn kick ass. We really wouldnt know, a lot of northern states like manipur or assam the Indians have more Eastern features.

  • Dear pcbd07 they sure kicked some asses, they have talent.

    Sam

  • ...Well, they are good, even if they are not from India lol but you can see differences in the dance.

  • Thet're Chinese :)

  • damn they're good!!!!

  • Wow! so cute I really injoyed it. Send more clips it'll be great

  • soo cute.

    Are they Chinese or indien??

  • Hey everyone! I really wanted to see this video again but after few seconds it won't proceed. Is anybody else getting this?

  • They look like such cute dolls dancing :)

    Girls you are so sweet

Can "abbychancatbb" share some insight into who they are?

  • What language are they're singing?

  • you got to be FUCKING kidding me....

  • wow indian dancei nshinese ong

  • too true, but what about the chinese letters on top of the video, n during the beggining of the video...

  • lets get this straight. the people dancing look chinese. but in reality, they aren't. they are indian. there is a state in india called manipur and over there they just look chinese. so these people are indian. i just wanted to clarify

  • But what if they are chinese or japanese?

  • theyre not. please trust me

  • Superb Hope to see more of these beautiful girls and their international dancing

  • very nice...indian dance..is awesome...

  • WOW!!! NICE

  • wow I learned something new from this vedio today and from reading what alanistan had to say!

  • hmmm...looks like a chinese singer is singing "ui ma ui ma yeh kya ho gaya"i.e. a song in hindi...quite sweet really

  • this is indian dance done by chinese people...the beginning is really nice...i like it how asian does other asian's dances..it shows one kind that they have the abiltity to do other's styles as well..

  • they are asian but they are doing indian dance.

  • Oh, you mean EAST ASIANS.

    Because Indians, are also Asians.

  • This is indian dance but danced by chinese peeps and sang in chinese.

  • its urdu/hindi lyrics. The song is from the hindi film Parasmani, "Ooi maa", by Lata Mangeshkar. It is obviously sang by a Chinese singer, which sounds so sweet. I thought they were fully Chinese because of the TV channel it looks like its been ripped from and the singer. The dancing here looks fully Indian.

  • at the top there in chinese it says its chinese..its a indian dance yeah.

  • They're Indian!

  • WOW! is all I can say! They dance so gracefully and so INDIAN! when it's obvious they are not Indian. And the song is Hindi but here it's sung in a more chinese/japanese style, sorry can't tell which it is. But it looks so true to the real indian dance form.

  • WOW!!!

  • Xcellent dancing. Doesn't matter where they are from, the fact is that they have trained so much to learn dancing from another culture. Inspiring and motivational!

  • they are really good. esp if they don't know the meaning its so expressive. i know that song.its Lata's 'Ooi mai' from parasmani, but resung liek in a chinese voice.

  • thank you..

so..what's the meaning of this song?

    i really want to know

  • @abbychancatbb Ooi Maa Ooi Maa (oh Mother oh Mother), ye kya ho geya (What happen to this), unki Gali main Dil Khogeya(The Heart is lost in His street), Bindiya ho tau dundh bhi loon(Dot may be find), per dil na Dunda Jaye(But Heart could not find)

  • @abbychancatbb Ooi ma Ooi Ma Yeh Kya Ho Gaya - Parasmani (1963) You can find it in Youtube wit English Subtitle. The feature film is Parasmani.

  • It could be chinese dancers doing different dances from India, and it was put on tv in China.

  • It's definately Indian. The paint on their hands and feet give it away.

  • Yeah they could be from north India but then the video has chinese writing at the top of the screen

  • i think it is nepel people.....not chinese or japanese...

  • Yeah they could be from north India but then the video has chinese writing at the top of the screen
