Bmw is just heading in a bad direction.. All of their models lack any real identity now, probably cuz they all look virtually the same. They dont have the same aggressive body contours and design, their front end design on all their new cars is just a slightly changed 7 series grill. Its stupid, and if this is what the new 6 series is guna look like, its guna have a real hard time competing with the new CL Amg. Bmw needs to clean out their entire design team cuz their cars are just plain boring

@rusty5100 high emissions and maintenance costs for the US people.... I live in CA and the price of owning a v10 is just not practical unless its a dodge viper. the new v8 twin turbo will be much better with a better auto tranny and better emission rating not to mention more torque and more horsepower than the f10m6

@ZurcBlackstarr It's called a camouflage, so that people don't get an exact idea how the new car is gonna look. It's kind of a disguise before it gets unveiled officially. Surely you don;t want to unveil a car that the public has already seen months ago do you?

@stephen5150 Problem is that new M6 F12/F13 will use twin-turbo V8 not the good old High revving V10 even though the V8 does give 0-60 MPH improvement about 4.2 Second

I really liked old 6, I think it looks amazing. Would happily drive it for next 10 years. Need to see this one in person to judge, but front lip seems a bit too much.

Stitched interior looks really nice, but I doubt it will be carried over to production otherwise it would cost closer to 200k. Also why does it have only 260kmh on speedo?

@serg472 It "only" has 260kmh on the speedo cause that's the "normal" 6 series, not the M6. And the normal 6 series will most likely be limited to 250kmh/155mph like most Audis/Mercedes'/BMW's these days.

The 6 series are big and heavy . Tell me this much: do you believe the new M6 will beat the R8 V10 around a racetrack or a Porsche 911S PDK in the dragstrip?

I don't think so, but that is what I would like to see and BMW deserves it!!

bmw already finished the 6 series quite a while ago, they are just testing it atm. the m6 started at almost the same time when the regular 6 series was build. you have to see it like this, they make like the basic thing, ( interior and exterior ) but under the hood everything goes their own way. bmw M does the M6 and BMW itself does the 6 series.
