Good, I like that you share this video Watch this short animated movie explaining sustainability created for RealEyes by Igloo Animations, I wish success always
The planet can easily sustain double, if not treble the population of what it has now so say, up to 20 billion, if not more. The problem is the amount of land and resources we are consuming. It has been said through many academic journals that if everyone on the planet lived with the same amount of land space and ate the same amount of food, then the population would need only the space of France to survive. Reduce our resource and land consumption not the population.
I think it's pretty ironic that people assume it's birthrate we need to control and not our way of life. Goods are produces to break down so that we can by new stuff. We are taught to be consumers from birth with all the holidays, mass advertisments etc. We don't need to reduce population. If we just wanted we could feed everyone on the planet many times around. Google 'overpopulation is a myth'.
@MrTruthVibrations RIGHT WING CODDLE-FOOLS out of congress, then, through ridged population laws, babies out of future. As so many multinational corporations say, IT'S THAT SIMPLE
@MalcontentGeek Yes IT'S THAT SIMPLE 2 fishes = 2mouth to feed... but what if I have 2 fishes and 10 mouth?... But NO its too simple, it as to be the fault of the government and some complicated manoeuvre for you to revolt and want MORE!!!! seriously who cares about the kids you didn't have? every time you masturbate do you think its waste?
@MrTruthVibrations NO one since they are not created... unless you prefer the old time mankind solution for resources? I don't think I need to spell it out...
I love this video. One thing I would recommend would be a plan to reduce the population explosion. I think there should be some kind of law that limits the conception of unwanted children. Also unnatural means to extend life into the vegetative state should not be condoned. I see nothing wrong with terminating an unwanted existence,
Capitalism will destroy the environment. 'Grow or die' is a terrible philosophy and will result in the destruction of the Earth, bit by bit, unless it is abolished.
@Adonnus100 Um, we grow more food on less land because of capitalism. "...but the earths ability to provide these services is declining...." PAH! It takes about five minutes of research to find out that isn't true in any way.
@mixmastermeeks Shut the fuck up capitalist pig and rot with the rest of the bourgeoisie. I'll bet you don't believe in climate change either. Ignorant fool. Where do you do your research to make the conclusion that the Earth's resources are unlimited? Conservapedia?
@Adonnus100 Look, I'm sorry you received a shitty education but there is no reason to be mad at me for it. And really? Bourgeoisie? Hahahahaha. Every decade they reschedule our immanent population disaster. After a decade of unprecedented oil use the climate of the earth hasn't budged and we have more known reserves than any other time in history. Not to mention those reserves are relatively larger because we can use oil much more efficiently. And the polar bear pop has increased.
@mixmastermeeks You're telling me I received a shitty education and then you act like the Earth is actually an infinite resource. If my education is shitty, then compared to your Texas ultra-fundamentalist homeschooling I have a PhD in sociology. The US reserves of oil are only increasing due to the import of oil from Iraq - which the US invaded for the oil, and if you deny that you are simply an imbecile.
@Adonnus100 Well why didn't you just say you were a sociologist in the first place so I would have known I was dealing with a University certified dip shit. That explains your problem. I've taken two sociology classes and both were nothing but indoctrination. The most wretched text books ever written. And people like you are unable to decipher fact from indoc. That is why you believe this non sense.
@Adonnus100 And certainly I shouldn't have to mention how non unique it is to find a youtube scholar who's ideas can't be questioned because they have a degree. I find that people with solid ideas and arguments don't have to appeal to the authority of having a degree. In short, not only are you wrong you are run of the mill.
@mixmastermeeks Are you fucking retarded? I clearly said 'If my education is shitty, then compared to your Texas ultra-fundamentalist homeschooling I have a PhD in sociology.' That means, if I have to spell it out to you, your education is terrible. The most basic of people could discover that I said you obviously have a terrible education. The fact you can't even comprehend that means that it has been a pointless waste of time arguing with a fool such as yourself. Goodbye.
@Adonnus100 haha. I love how dumb liberals get their ass handed to them in an argument so they something like "well your so stupid I'm not going to waste my time with you." What ever helps you save face.
@Adonnus100 Oh I see. You aren't part of the political left you are part of the religious greens. Believing in mythical imminent catastrophes. The only way to avoid the wrath of the earth is to repent our ways. I bet you are one of those nuts who goes into the forest and cries over the cut down trees.
@mixmastermeeks Funny thing is, in all his comments, I don't think @Adonnus100 presented a single fact, piece of evidence or statistic. People refer to 'experts', 'professors', or degrees when they haven't an argument of their own to make.
I agree this video is simply terrifying. Even worse is a video of Bill Gates telling people to get CO2 levels down to 0! Search Bill Gates depopulation.
I'm sure Germans found the movie Der Ewige Jude very entertaining in 1940.
@historypoliticsbb Yeah. Can you imagine what our world would look like if Goebbels had the internet at his disposal like these people do? I will look up the Bill Gates video. thanks.
@mixmastermeeks I venture that the world would look something like it will look in 2050. Orwell's 1984 and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World are the blueprint. Both were members of the Fabian Society.
I also urge you *deep breath* to actually read the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in pdf. We don't know who wrote it (thus no one can prove it was a forgery) but whoever did knew the gameplan. Substitute the word 'Goyim' for masses and the references to Jews for 'Global elite'.
@historypoliticsbb "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is a fraudulent, antisemitic text purporting to describe a Jewish plan for achieving global domination. It was first published in Russia in 1903, translated into multiple languages, and disseminated internationally in the early part of the twentieth century." First sentence of Wikipedia description. Oh no, but that's also a Jewish dominated site, isn't it?
@Adonnus100 So you believe something just because Wikipedia says it? Lol. Take a look at their description of the Arab Revolt. Let me ask you, how do you know it is 'fraudulent'? Show me some evidence. My view is that it doesn't matter who wrote it, it describes the gameplan. It is anti-semitic. But that's why I recommended substituting those terms.
But I've actually read it. Like Nietzsche said, don't judge something until you've actually read it. Get back to me when you have.
@mixmastermeeks I am not religious. You would only accuse me of that if you were, as I suspected, a fundamentalist, homophobic, sexist Christian. The Greens are a political party. I vote for them because of the incompetence of the main two parties and the social equality beliefs I have, not because I am some 'hardcore' environmentalist.
@Adonnus100 PAH! what? talk about grabbing for straws? So now I'm a homophobic sexist Christian fundamentalist? Is that what you do when your arguments give you no ground to stand on? Any old slander will do eh? What ever gets you off the hot seat. But just for entertainment.....which statement clued you in on my homophobic sexist christian fundamentalism?
@mixmastermeeks yeah, just looked at your channel, and you are obviously a dickhead. you make videos on how 'Socialism is like wile-e-coyote.' You are a 40 year old bearded conservative and here you are trolling on the internet about how climate change is false.
@Adonnus100 Um...so......how does that make me a homophobic sexist christian? Socialists are like Wile E. Coyote. It is kinda pathetic when you can't even explain that. Like I said, I'm sorry your education was shitty. We should open up the education system to the free market so people like you who can't educate themselves can at least learn the fundamentals.
When Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Royal Dutch Shell and BP start taking this seriously we'll know 'sustainability' is an issue. Until then the carbon taxes, and 'cap and trade' (thanks Al Gore) scams can f*ck off.
@mixmastermeeks Its amazing isn't it, you have these people of the 'Left' who claim they want to the help the poor, but in reality the global banking and corporate elites are playing them like a violin. 2/3rds of the world's population live in real poverty (not World Bank/UN $1/day poverty), and they want everyone to pay more for their gas bills, more taxes, and use agricultural land in the Third World for biofuels. World temperatures have been declining since 1998. End of.
@historypoliticsbb I think the scariest thing about these kind of videos is that at the root of them is population control. And there is no doubt that the poor countries in the world will be the ones who are stopped from reproducing. Eugenics all over again. All in the name of Humanity.
Try to keep a clear head and make sense, man. You're right that "the left" wants to help the poor (and it's not working), and the banking and corporate elites are ruining things, but there's nothing ironic about it. The banking and corporate elites are not "the left," they are "the right." The left has repeatedly shown that we don't need to pay more (that's what the right misleadingly insists in order to maintain the system), but we have to pay differently.
@ichifish ichifish If you still think that the bankers and elites are the 'right' then you're still their puppet. Tell me, who funds this left-right charade? In the US their left-right paradigm is funded by the exact same people - Goldman Sachs (Romney's top contributor and Obama's). I know you're going to tell me 'the Democrats aren’t left-wing' but millions of Americans don't see it that way.The Warburgs and Kuhn, Loeb & Co. and Schiff funded Lenin and Trotsky's
@ichifish (cont.)'revolution' in 1917 and the USSR thereafter. The Rockefellers financed the Vietcong through their arms factories. 'Philanthropists' like Al Gore and Soros go running around supporting 'left' causes, while the Rockefeller family largely funded the Feminist movement and the ‘Gay’ rights movement through their university and ‘tax-exempt’ foundation, as well as their control of the media. Even the CIA funded Gloria Steinem, search it.The left-right paradigm is simply
@ichifish (cont.) another element of the divide and rule, or the Ordo Ab Chao tool of the global elite. Don’t buy it, otherwise you’re playing their game.
were talking about 7 billion people on planet earth here so the elite do want us to green but what they fail to tell us is that they also have a secret agenda called agenda21 and part of being sustainable is reducing the world population they want to reduce us. the USA government is talking about bringing in what hitler did over in germany. they want to inforce youth in asia. I dont know about you but I see the begining of a Communist country in the U.S.A.
@EsspressoDude I'm afraid that the Rubicon has already been crossed with regards the USA. The fact that the public (through no fault of their own) largely swallowed the 9/11 lie, means that the US govt. is capable of doing anything in the name of 'security'. The Patriot Act essentially abolished the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and the NDAA, which allows indefinite detention without trial for US citizens just passed the Senate. The US is now a military dictatorship.
The conomic system is based on cyclical consumption. It is in direct opposition to sustainable values and systems. The things you are asking to coexsist cant I am afraid. One has to go.
@TheAnubisDrake In a way it is. The design is dictated by the planets, animals, and other interconnecting parts of the planet. I agree that it wasn't planned out though. It came to be.
also why are all the care instructions worded negatively.. it's just as easy to say them possitively.. use natural ingredients.. help people to feed themselves.. etc
also don't lik the idea that the earth is 'designed' to produce food (for us)..
the earth is system adn everythign is connected... true.. society, environment and ecomony.. not true.. people and plants are REAL things and have real needs.. economy is a concept adn has no real needs.. please don't equate.. it can be a useful concept sometines but is in noe way neccesary.... p.s. i like this vid..thats why i take the time to comment.. ;9)
I disagree that demand for the earths services increases as living standards rise. that only hold true if your models equates high living standards with over consumption... most of the problems of the over developed nations are that of gree d and wate and learning the true value of things would increase health and wealth and decrease negative environmental inpact.. our society is chronically ill from using too much.. using less will make us better not worse off..
@paulflute I think you are on the right track. IE: If you go to poor countries the environmental devastation is much worse. The land rivers and lakes are polluted with garbage, dirty drinking water causes much illness and death. Poor countries have much lower pollution standards so industry takes advantage, the birth rate is higher which puts a strain on the few resources available. People in first world countries can afford to be more conscientious, environment is cleaner than in the .........
@SonjaSmith Industrial age. Education is higher, so we recycle and have filters and smog collectors. Computers are saving trees, we are solarizing and using wind power. We are organic farming again, but on 'mass scale' because we have machines that allow it in a less time consuming nature. People who want us to go BACK in Time are wrong. We are evolving above and beyond the use of fossil fuels- by new technologies that only wealth/education/prosperity can provide. Prosperity is great , Evolve!
@SonjaSmith no one is evolving, nothing is evolving, its all a myth. There is no evolution. the law of biogensis proves this fact. Law. Fact. Reality. Scientists are just making it all up. Because they get grants and people fall for their lies. Its been proven over and over. Only a sick mind could even fathom these notions.
@DarkChiiTheme Selfish people create. Did you know Rockefeller saved the whales by kerosene? If not , not a single whale would be alive today. Selfish people create jobs, wealth, industry and prosperity, for all. Selfish is the way to go, and if you simply don't get it, you are just one of those that wants 'government' IE: A gun to someone elses head- to fix all your problems and give you free cheese. But That cheese IS NOT FREE. Some son of a bitch with 3 kids of his own is paying for that.
Im not sure if u understand the word "selfish". If u save whales from dying then u're noo where near "selfish".. u call it "helpful" and "caring". Lol! ur talk about cheese makes no sense xD u dont know me so pls dont judge me. Those who let the goverment do it all r selfish, to afraid to stand for whats right n whats wrong.. selfish people are those who hoping they'll die before something bad happens to this planet but i want to make a change!
@SonjaSmith The environmental movement was created by Eugenicists who went underground after WW2. Most of you dont even know what agenda you are supporting. Its self hating and not helping anyone. You are buying a pack of lies fed to you by nefarious people with an anti humanity agenda. It's your own self hatred that drives your ambition. I have a great idea, please, dont save the planet, work on saving yourself from yourself.
Who cares what happens in the future after I (and my family) die? That's why I vote Republican.
We TruePatriots(tm) know that you have to get while the gettin's good or you're a weak nobody. The prize goes to he who can take the most while he still walks the Earth before he goes to Heaven.
@Jacksparrow1973, yeah, "sustainability" is just another NWO tactic to control the blue-collar man and force him to drive a Prius. Same with all that Al Gore nonsense, too. It's all part of the same scheme to tax us to death. There is at least 500 years of oil under Gull Island in Alaska.
Only God will decide when Man has feasted too much on His bounty, and I ain't heard God speak on that topic yet. Just consume like a sonofabitch, since it's your God-given right to do so.
The economy is connected to the environment? Yeah i guess you could say that, in the way that Food not being given to someone is connected to them starving...
PLEASE: People, spread the truth about the REAL, MUHAMMAD (And, Muslims who say Islam is peace - There are NO two Korans), copy and paste the below complete line, including brackets, on youtube SEARCH bar:
All about Muhammad (the founder of Islam, the supreme example for Muslims).
Sin and the Lord will bring a flood, says the Bible.
Build an Airport Runway and the icebergs will melt and bring a flood, say the environmentalists
The only difference between the two narratives is that the latter has taken G-d out of the equation and replaced Him with a couple of think tanks
Environmentalism provides the believer with the grandiosity of a human centered existence, in which the actions of individuals can lead to massive catastrophes, floods, hurricanes
The argument is too simplistic and makes no corrections for death, disease, increased productivity and innovation of greener machinery, just to mention a few things.
The Marxist cartoon character is not wrong to say we should certainly try and keep our planet clean. I hate walking a trail and seeing gum wrappers and I hate the smell of exhaust on the way to work. But Marxy is wrong that we are 'destroying our planet'. Nope. Not even close. Which doesn't mean 'start smashing stuff' but no, we are not destroying the planet. Not yet anyways.
@gulbirk Depends on who and where and at what point in the 'arc' they are on right now. If you are India you might be at that point (and for a while yet) and if you are China you are allllllmost getting to the point where resource use pays off into high efficiency, vastly increasing resource production and that goal of fast-smooth production. So the best thing to do is let energy and resource companies advance as fast as possible in wealth and growth etc to get to that sweet spot asap.
Because we (the human SPECIE, not individual countries) already use MORE resources then what is being re-produced naturally by the earth, and by us. Which means there MUST be a decreation on over use because we dont even feed 1/10 of the world, and we already over use. It also means that we have to stop the silly competition about who can produce the cheapest food, because it leads to so much food being thrown away.
@gulbirk Yes, lol and you are saying 'nonsense things' like this idea you have about using MORE resources than is being re-produced naturally. Whatever you think that means your 'must' is not right. What you MUST do is let India (for example) get though their 'arc' faster. As for feeding 1/10th the world. We absolutely can do that on pure food availability. And yes cheaper food is why we 'could' easily feed 100% of the Earth. But warlords, politics tend to stop that.
We should be thanking the oil companies, send them Christmas cards every year. Where would we be without them? I think it's incredible that they can go to such extremes to produce a gallon of gasoline and sell it for about the same price as a gallon of milk. Think of the technology involved in these two products. This cartoon smacks of being aimed to brainwash elementary school kids. It starts out sweet and quickly runs into "be afraid and give us power over your lives!" I ain't buying it.
At the end of the day all this bollocks about the world dying running out of this or that are pure lies they have been saying the same shite for hundreds of years same as this population reduction doctrine they force on people anyone who believes them clearly is disconnected from the real world most of the worlds resources are untouched so how can we be running out you do the math i cannot see why everyone is so fearful of questioning what they are told by the elite when they systematically lie
@JamesCunnyy "population reduction doctrine" and "i cannot see why everyone is so fearful of questioning what they are told by the elite when they systematically lie" ..My favorite parts :)
The elephant in the room is peak oil, followed by anthropogenic global warming.
The blind sheeple fail to see how the multi-trillion dollar coal and oil companies pay fake "think" tanks like Heartland and Cato "institute" = rightwing propaganda groups = to interfere with necessary radical transformation of society off fossil fuels and nuclear power.
These sheeple still repeat these corporations' lies and don't deserve to live or reproduce.
There's a lot of this at the moment. The global carbon market, according to the World Bank, was worth $142bn last year, which is more than 13 times its value six years ago. Almost all major companies have CRCs, sustainability ambitions etc. But clearly, there's a great deal more work to do.
What this clip doesn't show is what you do to lower your emissions and reduce waste. There's a good video on that. If you search on youtube for 2DEGREES ESSENTIALS you'll find helpful guides.
@freemayo I think you should know better. It's not trying to heat your home, have good food, clothe yourself and have a few luxuries that's the problem. It's abuse from the Elite, trying to say You Cant Have a high standard of living or you are a plague on the earth for wanting to- while they fly their private planes, privatize the water of the world, sell pesticides, vaccines and Gmo's to the public w/ gov cronyism helping out. Selling self hatred one idiot
Lookup Vladimir Vernadsky, the Noosphere and cosmic radiation. Become aware of the green fascism and inhumane neomalthusianist policies of the oligarchical establishments.
This is just NWO propaganda! We are just fleas on the dog of earth, it will be here long after we're gone, and it will be fine. Dinosaurs killed more vegetation than humans and the earth was still here for our use afterwards.
@DANCINGBONES dinosaurs needed that vegetation to survive. the vegetation of our time is practically going extinct due to anti-environmental machines, unclean air and unclean water. mind you that plants still need clean air and water to survive, like us. if they die, we die. dinosaurs didnt genetically enhance their vegetables and fruits before eating them either. but you are right about the earth. its an amazing surviver. but that doesnt mean we'll survive with it.
I was about to call this bs. Really was but then they are talking about reasonable acts which anyone with a brain would agree too. Problem is corporations won't let it happen because it impacts their profit line so any sustainable developement is actually permanent monopolies and slavery.
Though it doesn't have to be that way. We can 180 this and turn sustainability into a booming industry providing thousands of jobs.
Through information and communication, we could come to an understanding and learn what to do to better and prolong our lives and all the future generations.
Google: 'Becoming Bavwu Sustainability' if this interests you =)
Woohooo Yeah "human needs" means we can have 3 cars each and 10 houses each along with electrical devices that suck gigajoules of energy! totaly agree! I also want a personal jet for my human needs!
That is very good, so very similar to some experts in the US who at least got the part about creating prosperity that does not destroy social values and environmental inheritance. Actually, Dr. Ricki Ott has complied it into a 3-part capital: social, environmental, and prosperity. Google Ultimate Civics to learn about her economic ideas because it is very very similar to this and she's been working on these issues for more than 20 years :)
lets revolutionize the whole world - watch zeitgeist addendum and zeitgeist moving forward we can eliminate poverty - debt -polution and war -bring abundant wealth to everyone and keep the earth clean
First of all the civilization has to drink all the oil and then find a way to survive without it by developing the already known sustainable ways to get clean energy (solar cells, wind turbines, sea waves turbines, etc).
In the meanwhile theres a lot to do to drop down our carbon foot print.
No the answer is extreme consumerist mentality reductionl. There's nothing more hypocritical than the westerners telling third world countries and developing countries to stop developing. If you believe in "extreme" pop reduction, then go kill your entire family and friends then shoot yourself.
@Zamolxx lol, yes, i will definitively do that to set an example for the rest of the world... We need to save the earth from us! (clearly I am being sarcastic, I would be a mad-man if i was talking seriously) Humans need to work together to solve human problems... We need to stop worrying about the f**king polar bears or climate change or 'the environment'.
If that post of yours was sarcasm then I retract my previous statement. Yes countries need to work together to understand and discover new physical principles and apply that knowledge to solve our problems. We shouldn't give up our sovereignty to superstate institutions on pseudoscientific grounds so that they can initiate their green fascist/malthusian genocidal programs. The Climate Gate scandal is one of the many issue which proves that mainstream warmers exagereate things for their own agenda
@kempingpeg So, genocide is your answer? And apparently the answer for at least 19 other people. Sad. This video, while I agree that sustainability practices are good, produces no references or documented facts. Be careful.
@kempingpeg Dont be an ass. Asking the wrong questions produces the wrong answers. You are being programmed. Everyone on the planet could live relatively comfortably on a land mass the size of Texas. If you don't know MATH and economics, at least TRY not to buy the Bull shit. This stuff is put out by people who want you to feel guilty about Living, while they have private planes and multi-million dollar mansions.
Dont be a fool, read some GOOD books, enjoy your life and produce!
@SonjaSmith I agree that we could live side by side in Texas, but we still need food, clothes and so fourth. These resources will of course take up a lot of space, since farms and factories needs to be built. We just need to raise the standard of living in poor countries, and decrease the consumption in extemely wealthy states like the US, Norway and the Unied Arabian Emirates. This including birth control will reduce the world population over time.
@norwedgianawesomenes I am sorry, but you are Wrong and know nothing about economics. WHY would ANYone want to decrease the consumption which = production, jobs, prosperity of wealthy countries, for any reason? Wealth produces wealth , across the board. Poor people produce nothing. You are advocating robbery of producers to 'fix' non producers and hoping that helps, but it doesnt. I am all for 'Charity' but not THEFT and regulating incentive until there is none.
@SyeraMiktayee I hear this all the time and I always feel the bigger elephant is miss management of resources. For example if everyone uses on avg 30 kwh a day at home and an NRG efficient home uses 5 kwh a day then we could theoretically increase population 6 times and still be the same as now.
its just not gonna happen. the only practical solution is either the world implements a one child policy to reduce the 6 billion population to 1 billion or less. or rely on another world war to kill off our populations.
this is ethics. this means that the human civilisation can continue to survive.
I completely agree with all of this and I am 100% willing to make changes to my life. Only problem, these sorts of changes cost money, a lot of money. It kinda sucks but I think oil will have to run out before any big changes are made and eco-friendly products are made more cost effective.
For everyone saying its because of overpopulation, well don't worry because when we run out of oil, that will make a pretty substantial dent in the population.
Green energy is quickly becoming essential for sustaining mankind. When people learn the truth they will realize we cannot survive without it. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click on the 1st result, then open The Present and read what it says.
Yes, lets completely ignore the elephant in the room; technology. Economists, politicians, monarchs... the Romans... have been at the 'limits' of what the 'Earth' can provide since the beginning of written history. So how do we have a massively higher population today when our ancestors all thought they had reached the limit of sustainability back in their respective era? Simple, technology. And since we kicked the Christians out of science, technology has been exponential.

Here in the UK if we suddenly stopped getting foreign food shipments then around 40 million people would starve, leave or kill each other.
This worries me so much, especially with a possible economic collapse on the horizon.

Capitalism will destroy the environment. 'Grow or die' is a terrible philosophy and will result in the destruction of the Earth, bit by bit, unless it is abolished.
Adonnus100 1 month ago
@Adonnus100 Um, we grow more food on less land because of capitalism. "...but the earths ability to provide these services is declining...." PAH! It takes about five minutes of research to find out that isn't true in any way.
mixmastermeeks 1 month ago
@mixmastermeeks Shut the fuck up capitalist pig and rot with the rest of the bourgeoisie. I'll bet you don't believe in climate change either. Ignorant fool. Where do you do your research to make the conclusion that the Earth's resources are unlimited? Conservapedia?
Adonnus100 1 month ago
@Adonnus100 Look, I'm sorry you received a shitty education but there is no reason to be mad at me for it. And really? Bourgeoisie? Hahahahaha. Every decade they reschedule our immanent population disaster. After a decade of unprecedented oil use the climate of the earth hasn't budged and we have more known reserves than any other time in history. Not to mention those reserves are relatively larger because we can use oil much more efficiently. And the polar bear pop has increased.
mixmastermeeks 1 month ago
@mixmastermeeks You're telling me I received a shitty education and then you act like the Earth is actually an infinite resource. If my education is shitty, then compared to your Texas ultra-fundamentalist homeschooling I have a PhD in sociology. The US reserves of oil are only increasing due to the import of oil from Iraq - which the US invaded for the oil, and if you deny that you are simply an imbecile.
Adonnus100 1 month ago
@Adonnus100 Well why didn't you just say you were a sociologist in the first place so I would have known I was dealing with a University certified dip shit. That explains your problem. I've taken two sociology classes and both were nothing but indoctrination. The most wretched text books ever written. And people like you are unable to decipher fact from indoc. That is why you believe this non sense.
mixmastermeeks 1 month ago
@Adonnus100 And certainly I shouldn't have to mention how non unique it is to find a youtube scholar who's ideas can't be questioned because they have a degree. I find that people with solid ideas and arguments don't have to appeal to the authority of having a degree. In short, not only are you wrong you are run of the mill.
mixmastermeeks 1 month ago
@mixmastermeeks Are you fucking retarded? I clearly said 'If my education is shitty, then compared to your Texas ultra-fundamentalist homeschooling I have a PhD in sociology.' That means, if I have to spell it out to you, your education is terrible. The most basic of people could discover that I said you obviously have a terrible education. The fact you can't even comprehend that means that it has been a pointless waste of time arguing with a fool such as yourself. Goodbye.

I will look up the Bill Gates video. thanks.
mixmastermeeks 1 month ago
@mixmastermeeks I venture that the world would look something like it will look in 2050. Orwell's 1984 and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World are the blueprint. Both were members of the Fabian Society.
I also urge you *deep breath* to actually read the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in pdf. We don't know who wrote it (thus no one can prove it was a forgery) but whoever did knew the gameplan. Substitute the word 'Goyim' for masses and the references to Jews for 'Global elite'.
historypoliticsbb 1 month ago
@historypoliticsbb "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is a fraudulent, antisemitic text purporting to describe a Jewish plan for achieving global domination. It was first published in Russia in 1903, translated into multiple languages, and disseminated internationally in the early part of the twentieth century." First sentence of Wikipedia description. Oh no, but that's also a Jewish dominated site, isn't it?
Adonnus100 1 month ago
@Adonnus100 So you believe something just because Wikipedia says it? Lol. Take a look at their description of the Arab Revolt. Let me ask you, how do you know it is 'fraudulent'? Show me some evidence. My view is that it doesn't matter who wrote it, it describes the gameplan. It is anti-semitic. But that's why I recommended substituting those terms.
But I've actually read it. Like Nietzsche said, don't judge something until you've actually read it. Get back to me when you have.
historypoliticsbb 1 month ago
@mixmastermeeks I am not religious. You would only accuse me of that if you were, as I suspected, a fundamentalist, homophobic, sexist Christian. The Greens are a political party. I vote for them because of the incompetence of the main two parties and the social equality beliefs I have, not because I am some 'hardcore' environmentalist.
Adonnus100 1 month ago
@Adonnus100 PAH! what? talk about grabbing for straws? So now I'm a homophobic sexist Christian fundamentalist? Is that what you do when your arguments give you no ground to stand on? Any old slander will do eh? What ever gets you off the hot seat. But just for entertainment.....which statement clued you in on my homophobic sexist christian fundamentalism?
mixmastermeeks 1 month ago
@mixmastermeeks yeah, just looked at your channel, and you are obviously a dickhead. you make videos on how 'Socialism is like wile-e-coyote.' You are a 40 year old bearded conservative and here you are trolling on the internet about how climate change is false.
Adonnus100 1 month ago
@Adonnus100 Um...so......how does that make me a homophobic sexist christian? Socialists are like Wile E. Coyote. It is kinda pathetic when you can't even explain that. Like I said, I'm sorry your education was shitty. We should open up the education system to the free market so people like you who can't educate themselves can at least learn the fundamentals.

End of.
historypoliticsbb 1 month ago
@historypoliticsbb I think the scariest thing about these kind of videos is that at the root of them is population control. And there is no doubt that the poor countries in the world will be the ones who are stopped from reproducing. Eugenics all over again. All in the name of Humanity.
mixmastermeeks 1 month ago
@historypoliticsbb

@ElProximo Recent date shows that we use more resources then what is being re-produced.
gulbirk 3 months ago
@gulbirk Depends on who and where and at what point in the 'arc' they are on right now. If you are India you might be at that point (and for a while yet) and if you are China you are allllllmost getting to the point where resource use pays off into high efficiency, vastly increasing resource production and that goal of fast-smooth production. So the best thing to do is let energy and resource companies advance as fast as possible in wealth and growth etc to get to that sweet spot asap.
ElProximo 3 months ago
@ElProximo No, lol.
Because we (the human SPECIE, not individual countries) already use MORE resources then what is being re-produced naturally by the earth, and by us. Which means there MUST be a decreation on over use because we dont even feed 1/10 of the world, and we already over use. It also means that we have to stop the silly competition about who can produce the cheapest food, because it leads to so much food being thrown away.
gulbirk 3 months ago
@gulbirk Yes, lol and you are saying 'nonsense things' like this idea you have about using MORE resources than is being re-produced naturally. Whatever you think that means your 'must' is not right. What you MUST do is let India (for example) get though their 'arc' faster. As for feeding 1/10th the world. We absolutely can do that on pure food availability. And yes cheaper food is why we 'could' easily feed 100% of the Earth. But warlords, politics tend to stop that.
ElProximo 3 months ago
We should be thanking the oil companies, send them Christmas cards every year. Where would we be without them? I think it's incredible that they can go to such extremes to produce a gallon of gasoline and sell it for about the same price as a gallon of milk.

All of care's principals are great, but they ignore the elephant in the room: overpopulation.
SyeraMiktayee 5 months ago
@SyeraMiktayee I hear this all the time and I always feel the bigger elephant is miss management of resources. For example if everyone uses on avg 30 kwh a day at home and an NRG efficient home uses 5 kwh a day then we could theoretically increase population 6 times and still be the same as now.
Enviroman101 5 months ago
its just not gonna happen. the only practical solution is either the world implements a one child policy to reduce the 6 billion population to 1 billion or less. or rely on another world war to kill off our populations.
this is ethics. this means that the human civilisation can continue to survive.

What we need is a new World War to reduce the population.

this is what ought to be,but how can we prevent greed?

I completely agree with all of this and I am 100% willing to make changes to my life. Only problem, these sorts of changes cost money, a lot of money. It kinda sucks but I think oil will have to run out before any big changes are made and eco-friendly products are made more cost effective.
For everyone saying its because of overpopulation, well don't worry because when we run out of oil, that will make a pretty substantial dent in the population.
I'm hoping the zombie virus is what comes first.
