I sell these things, the 7.4V LiPo makes them backflip if you are too throttle happy. The 11.1V makes it almost undrivable. Our demo model snapped the driveshaft, stripped the spur gear, bent the shock towers and absolutely destroyed the wheels.
It was a lot of fun, but didn't last long. These cars aren't strong enough to take the amount of power they put in them.
@1234thepatricks Thats ok I will give that time to your mum, she is still tight from squeezing out a piece of shit like you so I might only last a min and 4 sec.
Dude i got one of these for a bit of fun, i run a EZrun 5.5T with yeah racing twin fan heatsync and a 11.1 30C 5200MAh and it dosent over heat, trick is to get those cooling fans and if you flip dont keep on the throtle.
I have a hsp 1:8 brushless buggy, ditch the standard nimh and replace with 11.1V lipo and it is very fast, around 100km per hour, standard motor and esc takes the power perfectly fine, only issue I have had is driveshafts breaking because hsp cant weld properly, rewelded them myself and all good now
thats not true. mah stands for how many elektrons can move in 1 hour. a higher value means longer time to drive. a 7,2V 2000 mah offers the same power as a 7,2V 4000 mah NiMh.
the C on a lipo is important for the maximum of ampere. the lipo CAN give more ampere but it CAN be damaged if you use more ampere than allowed. 20C in a 1000 mah lipo = 20 ampere maximum, 20C in a 5000 mah lipo = 100 ampere maximum.
of course a 5000mah nimh will give more peak current that a 2000mah nimh.
realistically, they might both be rated a 10c?
meaning the 5000mah will give higher peak current.
a higher capacity nimh WILL give better performance than a lower one, probably slightly higher top speed, and slightly better acceleration, as well as longer run times!
but why would you wanna run crappy nimh anyway?!?!
the battery i have 7.4V 8000Mah 20 - 25C cost 64 US Dollars with free delievery all over the world, and i have another 7.4V 8000Mah 15C with a price of 36$ with delivery,very good price i think :)
hsvtrev, don't you think that the spur should be 68 or litle more, not 64P ?
I try to find spur more than 64P, but didn't find!
Because i think that with 68T or more the model will run even better, and even if the speed drops, it will not be so much
Que motor tiene, ESC y que baterias utilizas? Tengo uno parecido al tuyo (AMAX TORCHE-PRO)y me gustaria saber que es lo que tiene este para saber si tiene lo mismo el mio.
I have 1 myself

What, only stronger battery?
I mean, I bought this thing for my 5 year old, based also on your video...
It's great fun, good quality, I also disconnected front drive...
But wheely?

how many mah is the battery?
qrian1 2 years ago
mah is unimportant, it influences only the time.
Prussian84 2 years ago
of course its important, just as the C rating is on a lipo...
no point in having a 2000mah nimh that can only deliver half the current the motor needs.
TheyDontWantMusic 2 years ago

@TheyDontWantMusic
additional:
the voltage influences the possible input
of a lipo. if you double the voltage
(imbalance between - and + ), the
amperage doubles (same resistance).
thats the reason why 11,1 V lipos
are "faster" than 7,4 V lipos.
Prussian84 1 year ago
yes, but if you have a lower capacity battery, the voltage will drop more with load than a higher capacity battery.
I'm not talking about different voltage batteries here.
TheyDontWantMusic 1 year ago
@Prussian84 welll derrrr 11.1 volt is more then 7.4 volts there for more voltige more power dick head
samfox11 1 year ago
@samfox11 dont waste my time with your basic knowledge, kiddy.
Prussian84 1 year ago
@Prussian84 2x voltage = power 4x. problem is overheating... but result are outstanding :D

@TheyDontWantMusic
one more time, that`s not true. 5000 mAh
NiMh stands for a possible constant amperage
of 5000 mA for one hour. if booth use the same voltage and resistance,
booth offer the same amperage.
but the 5000 mAh can deliver it 60mins
and the 2500 mAh 30mins.
mAh is the unit for "charge".
the charge is unimportant in the
formula I = U / R <- R stays constant.

you need to go 11.1v and bigger pinion gear on the motor
30GB 2 years ago
the ESC overheats if you do that, bigger pinion helps alot but it doesn't need more than 7.4v

How many time you run with yout battery?
My time is from 40 to 60 minutes with the 7.4V 8000mah 20C battery ?

Hello, i have the same model, only the name is HSP who make them really!
Can you tell me with what battery you are,and also what pinion and spur ?
I am with 64 spur and 14T pinion, and with
7.4V 8000Mah 20C battery , and the model run like yours :)
mirovampiro 3 years ago
Hi,
yes mine is the same ratio, the battery is a 7.4V 2200mAh 25C.

El motor es 3300kb escobillas con un 70amp CES. Yo diría que la batería es un 8000mah 11.1v LIPO valor de $ 200!?
