I felt sorry for Duck. He was emboldened by the alcohol but it made him blow it. Yes, I do think the British guy set him up. He had to know of Duck's alcohol problems. Even though people may not have understood addiction back then, anyone would know not to send a CASE of gin to an alcoholic - if you wanted to keep him around.
I love that they've included Robert Morse from "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" as part of the show. It seems very fitting (and I'm sure not coincidental.)
